Princess kaiulani

Allison M on Nov 16, 2024

This is our 6th time staying at Sheraton Princess kaiulani. Hotel is clean. Our housekeeper Lorna she was so friendly and did an amazing job keeping our room clean she was a five star. Thank you Lorna. We also meet Floyd who works at the pool area. What a wonderful guy. He was so friendly and made you feel welcome both wonderful employee you have.. We were on the 21st floor the last room on the back side of hotel. Do to being so windy our patio doors were rattling back and forth making a lot of noise as well we had a window on our other wall and it wasn't sealed. It had a small opening that just whistled. So not the best for sleeping. Sounded like we were having a winter storm back home. We couldn't sit long on the Lanai due to the wind. One night one of our chairs flew off the Lanai due to the wind. We had asked for partial ocean view when we made our reservation in the beginning of this year. As we checked in the girl said they had upgraded us. To me I felt like they had down graded us for the price you pay. Not sure if we will stay here again. We were here for two weeks.

Nice, clean, centrally located hotel near Waikiki Beach

jkdeal2020 (Bakersfield, California) on Nov 13, 2024

The Sheraton Princess Kaiulani was the perfect place to stay on our honeymoon. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the view from our lanai was amazing (including the Friday night fireworks) and there was plenty of parking available in the parking garage. The hotel is located within walking distance of the beach and everything along Kalakaua Avenue. H1 isn't too far away to explore the rest of the island. The Splash Bar had great tasting food and the best Mai Tais I tried on our entire trip. My only complaint, and not the fault of the hotel at all, was the extremely loud music and screaming on Halloween night until after 2am. Who would have guessed Halloween would have been such a huge party night in Waikiki? It was pretty interesting to experience Halloween in Hawaii and to see all the people in costume. The hotel also had an amazing haunted house the staff put together with the funds raised going to a local charity.
