Nice, laid back resort

My wife and I just finished a week at this resort. We’ve previously been to Secrets Akumal and several other all inclusive resorts. Prior to arriving, I was concerned by some of the negative reviews. Pay n...o attention to them. Secrets Huatulco is a nice, laid back rest. It’s in a beautiful location, has wonderful service, has great food, and is remarkably clean. It’s not new, and some of the facilities are showing some age, but nothing to the extent that it impacts the experience unless you let it. Those complaining apparently expect perfection. It is a totally different experience than a Cancun/Riviera Maya trip. The area is beautiful with lots of sea life. We saw dolphins and a gray whale on a boat trip and saw humpbacks breaching in the bay from our Bali Bed at the resort. Our trip to Magic Falls was amazing. That expertise alone was with the trip. A note to Americans: there are very few flights directly from the US. We flew through Dallas. There are many flights from Canada, and a vast majority of the tourists in Huatulco are Canadian.

Our house keeper Citlali for Room 3112 was absolutely wonderful. She practices great customer service. She is absolutely a 5. The other person Marcos was also very good. All the workers in the Restaurant w...ith restaurant respond absolutely are very professional.
