Following American Hotel & Lodging Association's (AHLA) recent announcement of its "Safe Stay Guest Checklist"—and following medical expert guidance to help reduce the spread of COVID-19—all Hyatt hotels in the U.S. and Canada will require face coverings within indoor public areas beginning Monday, July 27, for the foreseeable future.
Public areas may include hotel lobbies, meetings and events spaces, restaurants and bars, and fitness centers. Some guests may be exempt from this mandate, including but not limited to guests with medical conditions, guests consuming food or beverages in restaurants, and children under the age of 2.

Wonderful Hotel and Staff

Had a wonderful Holiday getaway in San Francisco. The Hotel was beautiful, the views were spectacular and the staff was very helpful. The Breakfast was top-notch as was all the dining at the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel when staying in San Francisco.
Worst stay ever

The biggest shock was arriving at the hotel to find that the staff was on strike. Protestors surrounded the property, chanting and banging drums all day and late into the night. Despite being a Hyatt member, I wasn’t given any notice of the strike beforehand. This lack of communication is absolutely unacceptable. Had I known, I would have booked elsewhere.
