The perfect combination of beach, jungle, pools, night life, and adventures

My partner and I chose Mahekal Beach Resort for the combination of beach, jungle, pools, night life, and adventures, and it did not disappoint! We stayed in a private Oasis palapa which was just far enough... away from all the action. Highly recommend the Revive Spa - the staff were very kind and communicative and the services were top quality - we even went twice. The concierge was also wonderful to work with! We had a particularly positive interaction with Cori who provided suggestions for the spa and was able to quickly coordinate a couples massage for my partner and I. Cori was also very attentive when we raised concerns about damage in the palapa roof in our room and was highly communicative while she coordinated with maintenance, even after her work hours! Overall positive experience - super clean, friendly and attentive staff, and a beautiful place.

Our stay at Mahekal was wonderful! It was very unique experience of an eco-oriented, boutique hotel that we loved. The highlight of our stay was the outstanding service and delicious, quality food at our f...avourite FUEGO restaurant. The menu was huge and full of different options, changing at lunch and dinner. I loved that they are very health oriented so the menu had many interesting salads and seafood options, as well as many mexican delicacies. The steak and chicken at dinner were very tender and juicy. It was such a pleasure to go there everyday and the servers were so welcoming and on their top service all the time. Thank you again to Ismael, Guillermo, Jorge, Miguel, Carmen, Roberto, Wilbert and always welcoming hostess Vanessa!!! And of course to the chefs! You all made our stay very pleasant and enjoyable! The hotel territory is very green and beautiful! The beach had white sand but the only thing I wish this hotel had a bigger beach area and also it was unfortunate that ousiders always walked through our beach or sometimes even stay right beside it. There was a rope to separate the hotel beach but to be honest it doesn't do much. I wish the beach was completely closed off, not allowing outside people to walk through! It would greatly improve the quality of the hotel rating. The palapas were nice and very unique, though a little bit small for a family of four with two teenagers. Also a suggetion to the maintance stuff to provide larger quantities of toiletries, such as bodywashes and toilet paper, as we always had to ask for more. Overall, we loved our stay and definetely recommend this hotel!
