This hotel is only meant for KIDS under 5 years old! If you are family with older kids or just a family with adults, please don't go there! As always the workers are amazing, hardworking and provide except...ional service, but the organization of all restaurants is horrible. There is no entertainment for adults and no one really cares about it at all. After 8 pm everything seems dead. Some toilets were not flushing at all. Since the beach has a red flag, everyone just eats and is near the pool throwing dirty diapers everwhere. The hotel needs serious renovation and organization skills especially for restaurant reservations.

I knew I was going to regret selecting this place when this was in the hallway leading to our room. Seadust doesn’t match online pictures. Only travel agency members can book the rooms displayed online(whi...ch they will try to offer you $20,000+ depending on the package). We did a tour for the club members and even after the update in those rooms you can see the construction is subpar, with visible sheetrock and attempts to cover old areas. Non-member rooms are aged and need a desperate facelift. The rooms smell, the tile floor has cracks, there is visible mold all around the shower doors, the shower floor is disgusting, there’s grime visible in all the corners of the floor, the doors have cracks and were covered in hideous black paint. Attempts to patch holes on the walls look like they were done by 5 year olds.The ice machines cannot keep up with demand. Water leaks from the ceiling in the hallway, and all outlets in our room didn’t work, making it difficult to charge multiple devices .The refrigerator, AC and ceiling lights in our room didn’t work despite reporting the issues twice nothing was done about it. There are various restaurants, one of which requires the membership. The others are mediocre, offering a typical American city experience. I was expecting authentic Mexican cuisine they do not have that there. Drinks are mostly bottom-shelf liquor, unless you’re a member, leading to excessive(sugar) calorie intake with the mixed drinks because the alcohol content is lower especially with the bottom shelf liquor. The adult-only swim-up pool is closed for renovations and will reopen to members only. The kid area is cute but closes at 4, so keep that in mind. The beach is beautiful but not suitable for my family and I. The waves are strong and dangerous, so research for a better stay and calm beaches like Playa Marlin, Playa Tortugas, Playa Langosta and playa Caracol. I don’t recommend Seadust. I do not understand the excellent reviews this place is horrible. (They must be club members and get the better treatment) Felt like a scam honestly. We stayed 5 nights March 16-21.
