Worst butler service, not worth the upgrade. Also, the Cuban restaurant made us extremely sick. The main buffet has a lot of food but it isn’t good food. Wine is Spanish and very good, and the beach is the... best. Because of customer service issues and the poor quality of the “diamond club” - there is absolutely nothing diamond about it - I wouldn’t go back.
Perfect vacation place. But Royalton: buy some rum and Sunwing: get your scheduling together

Amy problems I encountered didn’t involve directly our stay but Sunwing had issues and the Resoets nickeling and diming of bar contents. See below. this resort offered overly pleasant staff, clean rooms,s...mall resort with enough people to visit and enough room to be alone. Food was very tasty and always something to eat. Activities for all ages from beach: Zumba, dance lessons, water aerobics, stretching and pool activity to get everyone involved and you didn’t have to be wasted to enjoy them. Beaches were gorgeous and the catamaran ride was nice To bring: Medicine for all ages, rechargeable battery lights and fans. Even solar lights. Locals only get 3 hrs of electricity per day Not thrilled with: Sunwing : delayed leaving and delayed getting home. Suitcases took a hour to receive in Mtl. Long bus ride to resort (we always seemed to be the last stop if 6 going or first stop or 6 leaving. Sunwing were not organized and didn’t coordinate with the hotels pick up times. We waited in the bus for 35 mins while the resort rounded up people to board. The Royalton; we arrived Tuesday at 9 pm and wanted a rum drink. No rum available. No rum available Wed. No rum or vodka available Thursday. Pinacola mix was strange. No ginger ale. Rum was readily available the shops so I feel like the resort is trying to save money and putting th rie bar service in a hard situation with the clients. All inclusive is all inclusive. We weren’t binge drinking. Just a drink late afternoon and wine with dinner and maybe a drink during entertainment. I would return by with another carrier. Plenty of places to relax and be quiet. Never saw or heard any hard partying
