Still a beautiful hotel so relaxed yet still feels luxurious to me.

It has been a long time since we were at Coconut Court so always a bit nervous of returning to a place that holds so many wonderful memories but I shouldn’t have worried at all it is still the place of dre...ams. We had room 75 which is Road level at the front (don’t let the front put you off) and third floor overlooking the pool and beautiful beach. The room is lovely very spacious with a kitchen and shower room that are just perfect. We were room only so bought in breakfast and snacks from the local supermarket but we ate out in the evening sometimes at the hotel when they had entertainment nights which were fun and food amazing. We also ate out at Jakes opposite which is also connected to The coconut Court so all bills can be put on your room to settle at the end of your holiday. We also went to Blakeys at Rockley and Oistins..of course. The beach is beautiful with plenty of beds some people prefer the pool so the early morning crew are always out with their towels. There are around 40 beds around the pool. Charlie’s Bar on the beach is well shaded by lovely trees and a great sea breeze to keep you cool while you enjoy a lovely drink and/or lunch. Great staff sometimes come on the beach to take orders. Bars and restaurants all close early around 10pm and Happy hours only include cocktail of the day and local spirits which for me was the only negative during my wonderful week at Coconut Court and I will return. We had an issue with seaweed on the beach over the last few days which has no reflection on the hotel as nothing they could do about it coming in but perhaps more effort could be taken to clear daily.
So enjoyable that we've already re-booked for next year!

My wife's and my stay was most pleasant and therapeutic, due to very friendly and helpful staff dealing with all aspects of the hotel, very enjoyable entertainment, clean rooms made up for us each day etc,... all in a lovely beach setting. The staff had no problems addressing our requirements regarding food and drink, which we very much liked. Sometimes the background music, and that for the entertainment, was a little high for us, but usually the staff were able to lower the volume. Thank you!

We have just returned from 10 wonderful days at the Coconut Court Beach Hotel. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we found all the hotel staff to be very friendly and obliging. We were alloca...ted a top floor room overlooking the beach and sea which made our holiday even more special...what a stunning view to wake up to! The room was spacious, very clean and well maintained. Yes there was some road noise, as mentioned in other reviews, but this was mainly the ZR buses and taxis tooting, which is out of the hotel's control and the many positives of the room far outweighed this one negative aspect. The bed linen and towels were of excellent quality, the bed was extremely comfortable, there were plenty of hangers and cupboard space, the shower was a good size and plenty of hot water, the hairdryer worked well, there is an iron provided but we didnt use it so can't comment on this, the kitchen facilities were adequate for us (we dont cook meals on holiday but there was everything we needed for drinks and snacks, although we did need to borrow a corkscrew for the wine as one wasn't provided.. but we now know to take one or a screw top bottle next time!) A digital safe and aircon is included in the price. The hotel has a beautiful clean beach with plenty of sunbeds which you can generally place where you want to, they are not put out in regimental rows close together as we saw on other beaches. No umbrellas on the beach but plenty of shade under the trees if you want it. We didn't use the pool area but it looked clean and nicely presented. The sea/lagoon was safe to swim in and is excellent for snorkelling. The location is perfectly placed for getting around eg walking along the boardwalk to other beaches, bars and restaurants if you wish to, or the other way to Pebbles beach to see the horses have an early morning swim. There are plenty of buses to take you to such as Bridgetown, the Gap, Oistins etc which are not too far away. $3.50bbd per person wherever you go to. To see more of the Island we would highly recommend Ted's Tours, which is booked at the Hotel activity desk. Ted is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and funny (and generous with the rum on the 2 rums stops included in the trip). His driver on the day Carlisle was a very careful and safe driver. We ate breakfast a few times and dinner at the hotel's Coco's restaurant - excellent food and service. We also had a lovely meal at Jake's across the road and the little Italian was good too. We had plenty of drinks and a few fish sandwiches from Charlie's beach bar during the day, which is a great little bar to sit in the shade if you want to or you can take drinks to the beach or around the pool (plastic glasses) if you prefer. Apart from 1 man offering massages, we didn't see anyone trying to sell things on the beach...no harassment at all. The friendly security staff were present to keep an eye on who should and shouldn't be there and the whole place felt very safe. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when we return to Barbados.
Fabulous holiday!

We have just returned from Coconut Court and had the best holiday. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very spacious and kept very clean by the maid everyday. You never have ...to fight for a sunbed and there are a few lovely restaurants situated near the hotel. We ate at Jake’s one evening and the food was delicious. We also used the hotel to book all of our trips. We got the bus from just across the road into St Lawrence Gap a few nights too. We would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Barbados.
Far, far exceeded our expectations.

Coconut Court far exceeded our expectations - we had a really, really lovely holiday. Our room was spacious and spotless, the beds comfortable, the shower excellent and the view - well, paradise. The 'kit...chen' area is well planned and everything works but it's pretty basic on cutlery and crockery - and lacked a bottle opener and sharp knife. All the staff are lovely - welcoming, efficient, friendly and fun, the pool is beautiful and very well cared for and the beach is beautiful. We ate in the hotel a couple of times (make sure you're hungry, servings are massive!) and walked along the beach and boardwalk to various restaurants (highly recommend Tapas - a short walk along the beach) and Mama Mia, the little Italian restaurant just across the busy road from the hotel. Oustins fish fry on a Friday night is a must (although it poured with rain when we where there) and is easily access ible by bus or taxi (3.50 BJD) The hotel's Actives desk offers lots of trips and excursions and we thoroughly enjoyed Ted's Tours trout of the island - a good start to the holiday as it gave us an idea of the layout of Barbados. Our only slight niggle was that, unusually, our waitress wasn't terribly helpful and didn't explain how the bonfire buffet worked so we had to ask, she also failed to mention that we could have dessert. But that's just a tiny speck on an otherwise wonderful week living on island time. Thanks, Coconut Court, for showing us your warm Bajan heart.
