The hotel has old world charm and character but the staff are incredibly helpful. Special mention to Ben the Concierge for providing great advice on local attractions and booking excursions. Together with ...the effervescent Renata in the Hawthorne bar/restaurant.

The hotel was excellent, beautiful lobby, great room. The staff were the best part of the stay though, genuinely care about guests. Perfect place for anyone. Location was excellent, was here by myself, b...ut next time will bring my family.2 minutes to Calgary tower, about 30 minute walk to GMC Stadium.

Amazing visit, everyone was so helpful and kind. Thank you Neha for your kindness and professionalism. The Fairmount Gold lounge was definitely worth the price. We also enjoyed the pool and delicious food.... This is the best place to stay in Calgary! The room was super comfortable. And the location is unbeatable

I had the best sleep of maybe my life. The dining staff are so lovely and so sweet! Food was absolutely amazing. I got the steak tenderloin with the brussel sprouts and I would recommend it to everybody. T...his is going to be my go to place every time I come here!

From the moment we booked the room our experience was exceptional. Although it was booked at a very discounted rate, we were allowed to move the date when my husband fell ill. To reserve it was prepaid, bu...t I was advised we could use our gift card at checkout and the funds would be returned. This went very smoothly which is not often the case when traveling. At check-in, Tushar at reception noted that we were celebrating our anniversary. Arriving at our room, we were surprised by the huge and immaculately clean room with a delicious slice of chocolate cake and a hand written greeting card. When leaving the hotel for a couple of hours, we spoke with Tushar again at the front desk to express our appreciation. When we returned we were greeted like old friends and we found a bottle of champagne and 2 glasses in our room. Our servers at breakfast the next morning were attentive and friendly and the food excellent. Even our checkout experience was notable with a great discussion about anniversaries and marriage.
