When we arrived exhausted from a day travelling we were given a room directly above the railway line outside. The room itself was fine, but not the location as I didn’t want to risk being woken by trains in the early morning. We were moved yo another room to the left side if the hotel where a party was going on in the main lobby dining room below and we had been told we wouldn’t hear, we absolutely could!! The room had wallpaper hanging from the walls in the bedroom and bathroom. It was not anywhere near the standard of the room we had originally been allocated. The air conditioning in the room wasn’t working and it was a hot day/night! However, the bed was exceptionally comfortable and due to both exhaustion and the fact we were staying only one day we decided to just put up with the shabby room! However, given that our holiday was supposed to be a ‘first class luxury’ holiday, the room certainly wasn’t!!

Our stay was delightful and refreshing at Fairmont Palliser. Neha was especially attentive and went above the bar to make our stay pleasant and welcoming. The Outstanding Customer Service Neha provided, is making our Family, Committed Customers of Fairmont for life!

Neha and Winkie are excellent employees and are very kind, caring and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast and Happy Hour appetizers in the Fairmont Gold Lounge were amazing. Winkie arranged to have front row seats for the 8 members in our family to watch the Calgary Stampede Parade.What an awesome experience it was to come down the elevator, walk out the front door and be ushered right to our front row parade seats

This historic hotel is gorgeous. Our room was small but very nice. Service was excellent. The food was exceptional.

Great place to stay in Calgary center! Staff and lodging were exceptional. Lobby was beautifully decorated. The hotel is also in a great location in navigating Calgary attractions, restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs. We would stay there again.
