From the moment we booked the room our experience was exceptional. Although it was booked at a very discounted rate, we were allowed to move the date when my husband fell ill. To reserve it was prepaid, bu...t I was advised we could use our gift card at checkout and the funds would be returned. This went very smoothly which is not often the case when traveling. At check-in, Tushar at reception noted that we were celebrating our anniversary. Arriving at our room, we were surprised by the huge and immaculately clean room with a delicious slice of chocolate cake and a hand written greeting card. When leaving the hotel for a couple of hours, we spoke with Tushar again at the front desk to express our appreciation. When we returned we were greeted like old friends and we found a bottle of champagne and 2 glasses in our room. Our servers at breakfast the next morning were attentive and friendly and the food excellent. Even our checkout experience was notable with a great discussion about anniversaries and marriage. Sorry, we didn’t note your name. Altogether a memorable experience for us!

2 night stay Room 442 On junction above two roads and train station. Extremely noisy. Bathroom poor, like warm shower, basin does not hold water , room extremely cold and air con controls not working Plus ...side Good location Beautiful public spaces Lovely attentive staff.

Once again The Palliser Gold Floor made us feel like we were coming home for a visit, not visiting a hotel. From personal touches in our room, gluten free cake with my afternoon coffee (thank you Ian!) and... general warmth from new friends and old from the Gold floor team, my mom/son annual Calgary Expo trek was made even better. This morning saw me feeling chilly from the rain as I had my morning cuppa in the lounge so Corrine brought over a warm Hudson Bay blanket to chase that chill away. To Ken and his entire team, thank you... again and again. See you next visit. ??

From the welcome at the front door to every aspect of the property the service is what stands out in making this hotel the perfect choice for your Calgary stay. Room was large, beds comfortable, bathroom w...ell maintained. All bed linens and towels were in pristine condition with no fraying or stains on anything. If there was anything we needed a quick call to the desk had assistance to us within minutes. Highly recommend the Hawthorne Room for dining. The live music in the evenings was a nice touch.

We just completed a stay at the Fairmont Palliser in Calgary. The setting, location, ambience of the hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were very personable and ready to assist in whatever way they... could, yet respected our preferences. One of our most memorable moments, however, was the very personal attention received from Mr. Eric Gatien, the assistant manager at the front office. Somewhere in the hotel processes, confusion was created relating to our reservation and the billing procedures. Mr. Gatien quickly sought to resolve the confusion and was very proactive and clearly understood the customers perspective in this situation. He addressed the issue, and modeled service excellence we would expect at a hotel at this level. We will always have warm memories of our stay at Fairmont Palliser, but most outstanding will be the kindness provided to us by Mr. Gatien.
