Atelier Playa Mujeres is an All-Inclusive 5 Star Resort for Adults and guests over 16 years, offering a fantastic concept inspired by the Art and Design of Contemporary Mexico. Warning: DO NOT RESERVE A SUITE if you may need to cancel. We needed to cancel a reservation seven weeks in advance of arrival, after placing a credit card deposit on a stay. Unfortunately, like many others have stated we have NOT YET RECEIVED A REFUND after waiting patiently for three weeks. This is utterly unacceptable. Upon reading previous negative reviews about others experiencing the same issues I noticed there was a response from management which advises patrons to call them directly to resolve the matter. I called multiple times only to be advised the resort only permits email communication regarding a deposit refund. This entire experience causes me to question the integrity of the business practices and will not be visiting this resort in the future as previously planned. I strongly recommend avoiding this resort. This is my first review on Trip Advsior however I strongly felt compelled to warm others.

This was me and my wife’s second time going to Atelier and for good reason. This is an exceptional hotel with excellent service! We’ve been blessed to have stayed in a few hotels around the Cancun region and this by far was the best. Big shout out to Christopher (beach service), Donovan (breakfast buffet) for their awesome hospitality & service. I also want to give another Big Shout Out to Irvin, Alberto & Roman (Bar De La Calle) not only for their awesome hospitality & service but also for providing top notch drinks & mixology that are better than most we have had back in the U.S. They are truly talented. I hope management acknowledges and values all of their great work.
