My friend and I just got back from 6 nights at Oleo! We had a wonderful time, and have nothing but great things to say about our stay. We booked and Inspira Oceanfront Junior Suite - room 3102 - wow, what a view. Loved being able to watch the ocean waves from the floor to ceiling windows. The room was massive, with clean minimalist decor. Nice large bathroom with a huge walk in shower. The king bed was super comfy and we slept like babies all week. I think our only complaint of the week was our fellow neighbors allowing their doors to slam shut, my goodness did it get loud sometimes, people need to think of others! We were sure to close our door gently every time. The food was delicious all week! We both are big breakfast people and their's was so wonderful every day. They have everything you can dream of from a Mexican breakfast - plantains, chilaquiles, refried beans, pastries, fresh eggs any way you like them (we had omelets every day), FRESH FRUIT - my goodness! The works. We didn't eat at that Asian restaurant but ate at Almar twice, oh my the food was amazing. We both had the steak, wowza. My friend and I have both been to multiple all inclusive resorts and the food here was the best by far! Don't miss the ceviche from the pool snack bar - El Botanero - we had it every day. So yummy! Brown Bag was a lovely afternoon stop for us when we needed a coffee treat, Patricia is the sweetest! And of course - the people! Everyone greeted us with a smile and an hola, etc. Alberto in the lobby was so helpful, he oriented us to our room and helped us out another time. So friendly. Sheila and Charlie were our favorites by the pool/beach. They took care of us all day long. So very friendly and fun to talk to. Tidbits/Tips; We never had trouble finding a chair by the pool/beach, we'd be up by 830 to breakfast then drop our beach stuff on the chairs we wanted, no issues. The mini bar was restocked daily and water was easy to get! Plenty of water bottles everywhere, they always had a cooler full by the pool that you could grab one while lounging. Don't hesitate to book Oleo, you'll have a great time!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We felt that the customer service was excellent. Stephanie, Citlali and Jorge at the front desk took very good care of us. Sheila worked hard bringing drinks and food to people around the pool and hot tub. And Patricia always had a lovely smile at the coffee shop. The food was great and the buffet offered a nice variety. We enjoyed the Asian food at the Hakka restaurant and. the choices at the Mediterranean restaurant. We would have liked to see more activities for kids and also more water sport classes. The rooms are spacious, the shower was great and the bed confortable, but overall the room was plain. However, the hotel could use some painting and minor repairs. The photographer on site is extremely talented and we were glad to have taken a package with her. We will keep a good memory of this trip.

Went here on a birthday trip, and had the greatest time! Kevin was very friendly and helpful. He thoroughly explained the amenities the resort had to offer. Would definitely come back here for the great atmoshere, cleanliness and services.

Great staff, Many thanks to Francisco, Roger and Edgardo @ Almar Restaurant, exceptionally and genuine service. Also Isaac @ reception. All restaurants offer good food, rooms are clean and comfortable, waiting for a bit of modern touch but overall a great place and location.

As an American, this was my first time visiting Cancún, Mexico in about 20 years. I came on a solo trip as a female to get oral surgery at “Cancún Dental Design” which was the BEST experience - it was a fraction of the cost that it would be in the U.S. and with exceptional care attending to my every need including a shuttle to and from Oleo Cancún Playa hotel! If you are an American, I highly recommend you get any and all of your dental needs taken care of in Cancun. With that said, my stay at Oleo Cancún Playa was also EXCEPTIONAL - the food, customer service, scenery, cleanliness all exceeded any expectation I could possibly have. The hospitality, warmth, competency, professionalism, and kindness of the Mexican people is truly heartwarming. Kevin, the Oleo hotel staff was just one of those examples of exceptionalism as he not only answered all my questions about how everything works in Mexico - transportation, best time to book at Oleo, he also provided so much other valuable information about how Mexico works. He should truly be considered for management if he hasn’t been already. He also made sure I had everything I needed as I was traveling without my husband in order to get my dental work done. I will definitely booking my next trip at Oleo when I have to get the rest of my dental work done!
