Ages 23 to 83, you’ll have an amazing time!

We had a great time at Hotel Zilara Cancun. We traveled here for a girl’s trip (23 year old, 58 year old, 61 year old, and 83 year old). The service was outstanding. For our wide age range, everyone was i...mpressed and happy! Juan Canto was our waiter a few times and he was excellent - very personable and truly cared for his customers. The food was always good - a nice variety of choices. There were so many different activities happening throughout the day. The hotel entertainment staff was always on it! I was very excited to try all of the workout classes. I did aqua fitness & Pilates. Diana was our instructor for Pilates and aqua combat. She was so fun! Pepe was a fantastic aqua cycling instructor as well. He was very fun! Overall, this trip was amazing! Great people, awesome service, fun activities and wonderful atmosphere! We will be back soon
Not Worth the Money

Food: 5/10 Cleanliness: 9/10 Room: 7/10 Bathroom is small. There is a drop down step to bed which at night is tricky. Staff: Friendly and helpful. Except the conceirge at check out who was rude and threat...ened extra charges. Pool: 7/10 Couldn't swim to swim up bar becasue of a mini wall between two areas. Evening Ent: 9/10 Probably the best variety and quality of show I have seen in years. ***THERE IS ALMOST NO SHADE TO BE FOUND ON RESORT UNLESS YOU RENT THE CABANA'S FOR $120 US. This was a big deal for us and we did our best to be in a restaurant or bar for the hottest times. Nothing to do in the evenings. The Time Out bar was blah. Overall for the money, I would not go back.
