Third time CZM and we chose for the second time, The Occidental Hotel. Outstanding service. We went to one of the specialty restaurants: The Olivo's. Sergio and his team were outstanding and beyond in thei...r service. Well coordinated. They treated us like family and they even brought a special dessert for our wedding anniversary even when I didn't ask for it. What a thoughtful detail from this team.

Well I really like everything about that Trip ! First of all the people all the staff were very professional we felt like home since the first day ! You guys have the fluffiest pillows that I ever felt !!... Thanks to Cinthia for our anniversary cake and Abigail for the excellent service and efforts to get us a really nice room on the top , also Dany at the olivos restaurant for the the attention and delicious food !

We stayed at Occidental Cozumel from May 26–31 and enjoyed some aspects of the trip, but several issues held the experience back. Positives: The property is stunning and well-maintained. We loved the snor...keling excursion booked on-site — very well-run and a highlight of our trip. The evening entertainment was also lively and fun. Negatives: Food quality was disappointing, and service was inconsistent. One morning we waited 25 minutes for coffee at breakfast. Although five dining options are advertised online, we were only allowed to book two for our 5-night stay — very misleading. Access to the sauna and gym required a reservation, which wasn’t clearly communicated. Worst of all, a power outage on our last morning left me in the shower with no water for 30 minutes and no staff support. Overall, a beautiful setting but not the seamless resort experience we had hoped for.

The occidental is great place for adults only for the whole family. Great place to relax and get away with the all inclusive which makes it even better. Great staff and willing to do anything to make yo...ur trip better.
