Nice Resort with Loud Elevators

The hotel and the rooms are very nice but the broken elevator kept us up all night. Hyatt tried to accommodate but everyone was complaining about the same issue. The storm took out the beach so was not able to enjoy the beach either. The grounds around the pool are very nice.
Excellent family stay - luxury and lots to do!

We loved this hotel. Visited for 3 nights at the end of a 2 week Florida trip, as an antedote to the theme parks! It was the perfect tonic. We had 3 kids aged 9 to 11 who loved it. We were in a family suite which was fantastic for our size family. A large room with super king bed for us and the adjoining (but fully separated) living room converted into a bedroom for the kids (double sofa bed and they put a rollaway single in there too). There was also a sofa bed in the main bedroom but we requested the rollaway so the kids could all be in a different room to us and everyone fitted fine. 2 bathrooms was also handy. Wonderful views in front but to the side there was a large building site! Facilities are awesome with several pools and about 5 water slides the kids loved. Never a problem getting beds even though it was a peak time of year. Kids activities daily and a climbing wall, putting green etc. Only area for improvement was it didn’t feel like there were enough food options for the size of the hotel especially as it’s quite removed from anywhere else. The main ‘family’ restaurant was fine but not very atmospheric in the evenings. Generally empty. The nicer restaurant was good for adults but not kids and that was basically it. We managed for 3 nights but it would have been an issue for a longer stay. There were very few outdoor seating options for food too which seemed strange in such a scenic place. They were also very understaffed so evening service was slow. The poolside food drinks and service were very good however. Would definitely return and recommend but do think for the high price we paid evening food options and service should improve.
