Terrible experience

We got to the hotel at 3:00 our check in time. It should have been an easy checkin. OUR ROOM WAS NOT READY. It would be an hour and a half before we got in our room. The staff did give us a credit to use a...nd a room to change in, but the time was unacceptable. Then,we find out that the sheets were never changed. On the first night we were very tired from a long travel day. We just pulled our covers down just to get in bed. The next day, we were moving thing around and pulled the sheets down all the way. We found caked chocolate on the sheets. Absolutely disgusting. The staff was not very responsive. They eventually did show up. They didn’t seem very apologetic. We did get some compensation, but I would never recommend this hotel.
Ripp Off

We had to pay the resort fee twice. The hotel said we have to complain with the booking provider (Agoda) and the booking provider tells us to complain at the hotel. In the end we payed 400 Dollars for thre...e days to rent some chairs at the beach which we must bringt back by 5pm. It's a total ripp off! PS: The girls at the rental service Beach Candy were unprofessional and unfriendly teenagers.
Lights aren’t on and nobody’s home in a place that used to be our favorite Waikiki hotel??

Gone way downhill without any brakes! Use to live this gem but now it’s service mess. WiFi? Doesn’t work? Coffee machine? Doesn’t work. Swimming pool? No chairs and loud obnoxious music. Check in took almo...st an hour and he still couldn’t find my Reservation although I called twice the morning of to make sure? Asked for oceanfront upgrade for 70 but that got screwed up. Stay at other better hotels close by!
Big Disappointment

I would rate it a 4 out of 5. Only due to the bathroom. The toilet is on top of the bathroom door, and the toilet is so low it is hard to sit down on it. It’s like you are squatting! The shower head is old... and not a good one. The water pressure is extremely weak. The bar inside the lobby isn’t very friendly. Our experience there was strange. We wanted to have drinks and apps one night. We went there and were told that you have to reserve a 6 or 7-course dinner to eat at the table. Otherwise, you can drink at the bar ( which is tiny) or eat a pizza on the other side in another room. It’s Hawaii, why would I want to eat a pizza ? Not a friendly atmosphere for us. This was a big disappointment. The pool isn’t the best since they have couches outdoors but not enough to support so many people wanting to be at the pool. We sat at the pool and no one came to take an order. They totally ignored us. This is more of a business convention hotel and not much of a leisure one. Mostly young people in their twenties and thirties came here. Plus, flight crew as well. This is not a hotel that should be used if you want a relaxing stay. People screaming in the halls or rooms. Loud noise outside , thumping music was awful, especially the night I had to go to sleep early because I had to wake up at 3:30 a.m. for an early flight. When I asked if the thumping music would end at 8 p.m., she said no, it ends at 9 p.m. I’m not opposed to having fun, but this was so loud that at 15 floors up I could feel the thumping vibration. Headache-style thumping music is awful. Then Stephanie had the nerve to say she can send up earplugs. WOW. Young people really don’t get it. Some staff at the front desk were nice but not very accommodating. Will never come here again or stay at any hotel that is owned by The Rockwell Group.

Everything from start to finish was exceptional. The hotel was located in an ideal spot for everything. Longboard access was worth the extra and would come back to stay again in the future! The staff is v...ery flexible and willing to assist in every way possible.
