This hotel is located right across the beach. There are plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance.

The location of this hotel is probably the best thing about it. Weve stayed on every island and this is probably just our least favorite overall. Too much of a city environment, loud noises and sirens at all hours of the day and night. Driving to the north shore is about a hour and you get out of the hustle and bustle up there. The hotel Food was decent. Service was sub par and very slow at the pool. Momosan restaurant was very good. Rooms are older and comparable to 2-3 star hotels. Basic, small bathroom with very little clearance between the door and the toilet— and we were “upgraded” through Amex. We had access to the longboard lounge as well and the service was great, staff in there were lovely to our kids and it was nice for snacks and small bites, breakfast and basic beer/wine.

We had a really enjoyable experience at Alohilani. The location is excellent. 5 stars. We had an ocean front room and it was amazing. The beds are extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this resort if you want to be close to Waikiki beach.

I am so mad about my stay at this place. I am never coming back. The room was not ready on time, the hotel ran out of wash clothes, I have charges on my bill that are misc amenity fee that no one can explain to me what the $240 charge is specifically for, there were problems with the patio door, no one came to clean to room, my key cards stop working, the service at the swell pool was slow and my family was ignored by the waitress. There was one helpful manager who offered a $100 credit for my issues, but after I received this final bill with this unexplainable charge of $240 that no one else was charged in the party I came with is unacceptable.

Can’t wait to come back to this hotel. Everyone is so nice and friendly. The location of the hotel is close to everything. Love it.
