I have mixed reviews about Andaz; we stayed here for a wedding, part of a block of rooms. The resort is beautiful, and we upgraded to an oceanview room so we could enjoy the scenery. Our room was large a...nd spacious with a nice balcony. The bed was fairly comfortable and it was pretty quiet. The pools were beautiful; there's also an adult only pool which was peaceful. The beach was also lovely and they will let you borrow snorkeling gear. What I wasn't impressed with was some of the staff. When we checked in, the woman at the front desk was wearing a dress that belonged in a nightclub (lots of cleavage showing!). Later on in the trip, we came back to our room at 2:30 and the room hadn't been cleaned. The cleaning carts had been in the hall when we left the room that morning so it was obviously an oversight. When I mentioned it to the same woman at the front desk her response was "these things happen". Really?? Yes, they do, but that's not the correct answer. When I gave feedback via the hotel chat I was told that I should not make comments about staff online as other staff members can view the conversation (I purposely did this so that Corporate would know what's going on). We also noticed food left in hallways for 10+ hours, and our room was not restocked properly by housekeeping. On a positive note, the guys at the bar were awesome!! Sy, Dylan and Dakota made some tasty drinks and hooked us up with some incredibly addicting macadamia nuts. Overall, for the price we paid, we were underwhelmed.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and had a lovely time. I really liked the Andaz resort. The rooms were well appointed and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet at night and the beds a...re very comfortable. We didn’t really spend much time at the pools, but they looked lovely. Highly recommend this resort!
