Fun family getaway

Our stay at the Andaz Maui was nothing short of amazing. The resort’s stunning design seamlessly blends luxury with Hawaiian charm, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were modern, and thoughtfully designed, with beautiful ocean views that made every morning special. The infinity pools were a highlight, offering breathtaking views of the ocean, and the beach access was great. The staff was friendly and attentive. The dining options were fantastic, particularly Ka’ana Kitchen, where the farm-to-table concept delivered fresh and delicious meals. While the food and drinks were on the pricier side, the quality and experience were worth it. We also enjoyed the the spa, yoga and fitness center, which added to the overall sense of relaxation and indulgence. We highly recommend the Andaz Maui for anyone seeking a family getaway with outstanding service and unbeatable views.
Needs improvement, tiny worn out rooms.

After going to the Andaz Papagayo Costa Rica, so far the Andaz Wailea in Maui is a let down. The room is tiny and not that nice even though we were upgraded to an ocean view as a globalist. They had plenty of suites but wouldn't upgrade us even though we are globalists. They wanted an extra $200/nt to upgrade. The service so far isn't all that great either. The valets were busy talking to each other and not that attentive. For a category 8, this is not as nice as other Hyatt properties. The room definitely has wear and tear. We were hoping for a romantic luxe couples trip and feel like we were downgraded to a motel like room. I just stayed Pelican Hill Newport Beach and Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, both were MUCH nicer than this one. This room feels 3 star at best. And Andaz Papagayo had upgraded us to a plunge pool suite as globalist, had much better service and the room was in better condition.
