Terrible customer service

We are owners of 2 timeshares here, including a 3 bedroom “oceanfront” unit. Caution! Oceanfront actually may mean oceanview as some of the “oceanfront” rooms are actually back above the lobby behind the p...ool and very far from the actual oceanfront. They are a total bait and switch operation - really dishonest and deceptive business. Building 4 is not oceanfront! We have stayed at this property many times and can honestly say that customer service has declined to a level that Marriott should be embarrassed by. Tonight, after 5 hours in the fridge, our food is now warmer than room temperature. After being told that the fridge was working “normally” they said that they would take our food to their other fridge. Why would that be necessary if the fridge is working properly? They said that it was because we had too much food - it’s a 3 bedroom unit. We have a normal amount of food for a 3 bedroom unit - nothing excessive - that cost us about $1000 at Costco today. The “Manager” Mesara Taty Tautuiaki came and decided to make things worse by arguing with us about what happened between the time the food came directly from our car and into the fridge - she is going to go look at the security footage??? Who trains these people? Honestly why would anyone buy a timeshare here - if this is how they treat “owners” - it’s not worth the money.

The renovations at Nanea are beautiful & the villas feel brand new. We stayed a total of 6 weeks and every day was awesome. The entire staff was courteous, welcoming and attentive. The food/ drinks at Inu ... pool bar were delicious. We had a wonderful prime rib at dinner at Mauka Makai.
