Great Location and views!
Dave C on Nov 13, 2024
I agree with many others that the place could use some TLC. However, we knew that going in so it did not hinder our stay. The oceanfront views are fabulous. Someone had mentioned before our check-in that the restaurant was very good too. We totally agree! We had most meals there and it is outdoors and oceanfront. There are several other restaurants within a few minute walk from the resort. All in all a fabulous four days.
Royal Kona Resort Crumbling Concrete
Patrick M on Nov 07, 2024
There was Spaulding concrete from the upper floors that fell onto our first floor patio that may be unsafe for occupancy. Their staff did come to look at the problem and offered to move us to a different room. One section of the resorts is already closed and under repair due to the concrete’s deteriorated condition. The resort manager Kevin indicated that repairs are planned so expect some construction noise during your stay.
