Resorts World is Top Notch!

expos4ever (Los Angeles, California) on Dec 05, 2024

I recently stayed at Resorts World for a week. I was in a beautifully appointed room at the Conrad. The room itself upon entry was immaculately clean, comfortable and luxurious. Housekeeping was also phenomenal in assisting with all my requests. A major thanks to the housekeeping team for the courtesies they extending to me throughout my stay. The gym is also very nice, but it can get busy. If there are conventions in town, it is probably best to go the gym after 9am. I would also like to compliment Abby at the gym who was so professional and kind. Thank you, Abby. Kudos also to Vivian at Nectar Life a retail store that provides personal care and skin related products; suffice to say that the dry weather in Las Vegas can severely impact your skin and Vivian provided me with tremendous advice! The casino itself is very nice; however, I spent most of my time in the Resorts World poker room. The poker room is easily the most beautiful poker room in Las Vegas, with excellent floor staff and dealers. Congratulations and a huge thank you to Leon and his team for making the poker room experience so very comfortable and welcoming for the players. Foodwise, I did not really go to any of the fabulous high end restos, but if you have the funds, Carversteak is worth it. For those of us on a more limited budget, I really enjoyed Mulberry Pizza and Geylang Claypot Rice (and a shout out to the literal bothers that work there-they both equally make delicious bowls, thank you). There is also a salad place where you can make your own salad that was very good and reasonably priced. In summary, the name Resorts World name is a perfect fit, as that moniker best represents the level of service and amenities provided throughout the casino and hotel!

This is not a five star hotel - do not stay here if you’re looking for five star. Suggest Wynn or Encore.

sullyontv (St. Petersburg, Florida) on Nov 20, 2024

This is 100% not even close to a five star hotel. It’s new. Staff untrained to five star level. Rooms are spartan with bad lighting. Beds are Westin quality at best. I’ve stayed at CONRAD LA and Nashville this is more of a Fairfield Inn. No Coffee in room LOL

Nice hotel to visit, but not to stay

trailviews on Nov 18, 2024

Nice looking hotel- that’s it. Service is poor, room maintenance quality is poor. Definitely not to Conrad standard. We arrived to the front drive, on a not so busy Sunday afternoon. Weren’t greeted except by an unhelpful valet guy who just wanted us to move our car. Didn’t offer to help us with luggage or find someone to assist. Check in was fine, they gave us a strip view room on the 32nd floor. The room was spacious and clean…. But there was no warm water in the shower. Either super cold, or super hot. We requested to move rooms, they said nothing was available yet tons of rooms were available to book that night. Maintenance came up to check it out, let us know a very specific place to turn the shower handle for it to be warm and not burning our skin. Left it at that and we were stuck in this room for the night. The shower never got warm, and it was so hot my skin was turning red. Spent a lot of time talking to managers who apologized and gave us a fb credit for the poor quality, over priced restaurants. Definitely do not need to stay here again.

Relaxing Hotel & Resort for a Great Escape

George B (Edmonds, Washington) on Nov 18, 2024

An ultra-shiek, modern, clean and comfortable hotel with a great selection of dining choices and some good entertainment choices. Although it is a bit far on the strip, there are plenty of things to do and see. Ana B. Is a great host, the high limit slots are some of the nicest in Vegas, and the dining options are fabulous. One drawback is the room service is Grub Hub, and it can be a bit challenging to have a decent in room dining experience. Perhaps an upgraded experience is available at Crockfords. The rooms are spacious and clean, the amenities are luxurious, and every time we have stayed, the bed.ljnens, towels, and other accoutrements seem brand new and very well cared for. Some of our favorites are Wally's, Viva, and of course Randy's doughnuts to cure the hangovers.... Finally. The spa is one of the newest and best on the strip. I highly recommend getting the spa experience package.and enjoying one or two mornings rejuvenating from late Vegas nights.

Favorite Vegas convention center hotel

aevant on Nov 18, 2024

The Strip-facing suite in the Conrad Vegas at Resortsworld is my favorite place to stay in Vegas when I need a place to work from my hotel or visit the Convention Center, which is a 10 minute walk away. Since it opened just before the pandemic, I have stayed here around 2-3 times each year for 3-7 days at a time. With a tacos el gordo across the street and Asian-themed restaurants in the Resortsworld complex, including Lady M for multi-layer matcha cakes, an Asian food court (though pricey), and now a Juniors Brooklyn cheesecake and pastrami place, I don't have to go very far, even though this is a little bit of a walk from the busiest center of the Strip. As a Hilton Diamond member, you will receive a $25 per person daily food & beverage credit. and bottled water whenever you want (though they give bottled water to pretty much anyone). That $25 credit applies towards food charges only at The Dawg House only; it does not apply to taxes and tips. There is no exec lounge. Pros: - New, spacious, suites that feel like a staycation (I would not stay for the regular rooms; I would instead head to the Westin which is closer to the center of the Strip) - Huge pool and fitness complex - Solid Asian food options Cons: - Price (you can sometimes find deals) - Distance from central area of Strip. It will take you 15 minutes to walk to Fashion Show Mall, 20 to Palazzo/Venetian, and 30 to Caesars. The Deuce bus that runs up and down the strip is not reliable, so you may want to lyft it (Lyft is usually cheaper, and Uber sometimes have a pickup location for the Conrad). Some tips for travelers: - Be sure to tip front desk agents if you receive good service. It's Vegas, and a little appreciation can go a long way. - Book rooms that are even (face the Strip) and lower (such as ending in 00, 12, 18 which are closer to the Strip, as opposed to 76, 78, 82 which are furher from the Strip). - Get a Genting Rewards card, ask the Genting desk to activate a $25 food and beverage credit. You can use that at any Resortsworld restaurant, such as Juniors for pastrami or cheesecake. They should also be able to activate a $25 gaming credit for use at some slot machines. Some requests to management: - Provide front desk agents more latitude in being generous to higher-tiered HHonors members, such as Diamond. A lot of time is spent waiting for back office management to respond to and approve any upgrade requests. - Allow for more options than just the Dawg House for food. It was much better with Suns Up, Buns Out two years ago when that was the restaurant of choice. Given that almost every restaurant is actually under the ownership of Genting, you should be able to expand the daily $25pp credit to Juniors, Suns Up, Buns Out, Starbucks, and any hotel bar. - Consider opening the pool earlier in the morning, such as 6am, and closing it later at night, such as 9pm. On this trip, I interacted with Melissa and Trevor at the front desk. Both were excellent.
