This was a great, relaxing hotel. The place felt like a home. Had everything you needed right by the hotel. This is the type of hotel I like. The Price is also very fitting. You pay 200 at any other hotel,... and you are gonna get a resort-style room. I would love to stay here again.

After spending a week in a very expensive condo in Poipu area, and walking a mile to the beach, we grabbed one night here since our flight home was canceled by the airline. Being beachfront was a real trea...t, and walking to Lava Lava for dinner and breakfast was also very easy.

The location and outside of the Aston Islander are amazing. However, the rooms are very dated (at least ours was), there is no gym, there is no onsite restaurant (there are restaurants and shops in walking... distance), and there are no elevators. However, the location is great - we were able to get to all sides of the island as easily as possible. Also it is located on the Kapa'a greenway, which is pretty long. I would have given the hotel a higher ranking if the rooms were more comfortable and did not look so dated and if the bathroom was remodeled - because it was so dated it was difficult to tell if the room and bathroom was dirty or just old.

Love this location. Beach right outside the door. Hot tub. Pool. Groceries in walking distance. Beach towels and chairs provided. Microwave, 2 fridges --one with a freezer that is good sized, blender, uten...sils, grill by the pool. Loved it!

The rooms were clean and spacious. The grounds were very well kept. Location could not have been better. Check in and check out very smooth. Staff were very good and helpful. Loved the fresh water in the l...obby to fill our water bottles. pool was very nice and the pool bar was good. Would definitely stay here again.
