Aston Islander was the perfect place to stay in Kauai! The location was perfect! We loved watching the waves at sunset, and having the shopping center and ABC Market Store in front of the hotel was so hand...y. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property. Quaint hotel. Great location. Could use a little TLC, but still a wonderful stay. Grounds very well maintained. Might suggest a bit more lighting on the pathways. Would definitely stay... here again if we ever travel to Hawaii again.

This was a fantastic place to stay! Everything was within walking distance so we were able to eat out every night and access a grocery store as well. The pool was great and the beach was also within walkin...g distance. The rooms were nice and I appreciated the kitchen amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful and it was a gorgeous location!

The rooms all have codes and they assigned us a room that already had people in it. We just walked on in to all of their stuff, though they were out. The hotel acted like it was our fault and told us they... were booked solid and couldn't give us another room. Like, we're gonna share a bed with strangers. It was absolutely ridiculous and so unsafe. They finally found us a room, but acted like we were the problem. It was hard to feel safe afterward when we know they just give out codes and dont seem to take safety seriously

Hotel needs to warn guests about no elevators up front. We arrived to our room to find hair in the tub and sand on the floor from previous occupants and housekeeping wouldn't come to clean up after 1st ni...ght. Worst of all, A/C stopped working 1st night and office informed us no would could help after 5 PM so we had to sweat it out the 1st night.
