Following American Hotel & Lodging Association's (AHLA) recent announcement of its "Safe Stay Guest Checklist"—and following medical expert guidance to help reduce the spread of COVID-19—all Hyatt hotels in the U.S. and Canada will require face coverings within indoor public areas beginning Monday, July 27, for the foreseeable future.
Public areas may include hotel lobbies, meetings and events spaces, restaurants and bars, and fitness centers. Some guests may be exempt from this mandate, including but not limited to guests with medical conditions, guests consuming food or beverages in restaurants, and children under the age of 2.

Very nice hotel, rooms are clean, restaurant selection was great. and great customer service, I was there attending the New Port Beach Jazz festival we had a great time. Service was really good. The peop...le that work there will make you want to return as soon as possible and I cannot wait for next year

Love this yearly stay at the Hyatt Newport Beach! Rooms are extremely clean. Staff is amazing at the desk, in reservations and back offices, in the restaurants, in the bar, valets and in housekeeping. I ap...preciate all that the staff does over and above!
