My recent stay at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach was a let down. It does not have the "Regency" of a Hyatt. The staff are nice and efficien, but there is a serious lack of personal interaction and touch the Hyatt Regency is known for. Prepare yourself for the motel like layout of the property. While the grounds are beautiful with their California coastal vibe, it cannot hide the fact the property is spread out and built like a motel, missing the grandeur of the "Regency" brand. Food is eatable but nothing inspiring, it will leave you bored!

The room had animal fur on the floor and couch that got on my clothes and hair, animal food on the carpet and pee droplets /hair on the toilet seat. As soon as I walked in there was a definite smell in the room. Lastly, there was a bandaid on the smoke detector. I got in around 9:30 at night so I was too tired to mention it at the time, but I was definitely not happy with the room at uneasy about staying in it.

dinners and lunches served would rate two of them five star and one of them a two star. cant believe the friday night dinner was that bad everything unedible even the desert. saturday banquet was outstanding. excellent kudos

I stayed at Hyatt Regency Newport Beach for a conference. Everything about the place was very good. The atmosphere was very professional but relaxed. The room was very nice. The conference area was ideal. The workout room was well equipped and located. I highly recommend Hyatt Regency Newport Beach.

Mother may I have another? Even being a short par 3 track I was able to play every day. Great way to keep the short game tuned up. Almost worth staying here just for the golf.
