Close to Universal Studios - a bit pricey

Stayed for 2 nights at the end of April to go to Universal Studios with the kids. Room was ready on arrival at approx 4pm in the afternoon, it was a standard 2 Queen room, was very clean and modern, beds w...ere super comfy. There was some road noise but not a lot from outside so sleep quality was good. We used the shuttle to the studios but walked back to the hotel as it was faster and all downhill - getting there is uphill and we just found it easier to get the shuttle - but it can be a bit of a wait, sometimes 20mins before it would arrive and it can fill up quickly. There should be better signage on how to walk to the studios, it took us a long time to work out where the path was as there is no sign directing you at all. I think the hotel is quite overpriced but it's the location you are paying for.

Very comfortable hotel and convenient to walk to Universal Studios. We only used the free shuttle once because it was faster to walk. In the lounge, Matthew and Jose were the nicest and most friendly Mar...riott employees that I have ever encountered.
