Bad Treatment of a Lifetime Platinum Member

Hotel was in a good location and room was spacious and clean. My husband, a lifetime platinum member, needed to come here on business so we took the whole family due to it's proximity to Disneyland. He specifically called before making the reservation to see if late check out was an option and was told "yes" and to mention it upon arrival. He did that and was told to check back the morning of our departure. The day came and when he called he was told "we don't do late check out here" so the family was left with no where to be while he finished up his business meetings at the convention center. Very Disappointing! Just don't understand being told "yes" and then being told "we don't do late check out here." We won't be back.
Clean Hotel, Good Location, Noisy Fitness Center

My family and I stayed at this property due to its proximity to Disneyland. The property is about a 10 minute walk from the Disneyland. The hotel is very clean, breakfast is as to be expected at a Residence Inn. The only issue we had was our room is directly below the fitness center. I do not suggest getting room 514 if you have any kind of child that needs to nap, or if you will be in the room while the fitness center is open. Each time we walked back from Disneyland so the kids could take nap, the were woken up by an extremely loud thumping, that you could feel in the walls. I called down to the desk to say the room above me was being pretty noisy and they said they would call to tell them to be quiet. However, the thumping continued, so I walked up to the 6th floor and found the issue, it was the medicine balls in the fitness center. There is no room above 514, contrary to what the front desk said. A guy was slamming the medicine balls onto the ground while working out. Definitely not the best choice for workout equipment when there are rooms below. It literally sounds like the T-Rex walking from Jurassic Park. Our 5 month old was pretty much unable to nap because of the constant thumping from the balls hitting the ground. So she was pretty crank at Disneyland. So long story short, I would stay here again, but definitely not in this room. If I was managing this hotel, I would pull the medicine balls as they are likely impacting multiple rooms around the fitness center. Seems like common sense but maybe that's just me.
