My family and I got back home about 5 hours ago and I am already trying to plan our next trip with more family for next year. Ana, our concierge was beyond exceptional! The staff here is really what makes ...this hotel so special. I believe it is one of the pricier hotels in the area, and it was a big purchase for us but it was worth every single penny. Pros: -The property is truly truly beautiful -The pools are wonderful and have so many cool amenities like stands for drinks and umbrellas, there’s also seating benches on the edges in the pool -The restaurants are some of the best food I’ve ever had, period. (all of them , not just Cocina de Autor) -The family suite was perfect. So many fun things to do in the room -The kids club staff , WOW! They give the kids their all. My son was the only one there a few times for some activities and they still went all out. They are so attentive, kind, and playful. I have never left my kids at any day care but they were practically begging for us to leave them there for a few hours, they absolutely loved it. -There is a lot of open space for kids to get their wiggles out -The splash pad and kids pool are really nice! -Our concierge (Ana) was so helpful in thoughtfully planning out our trip to maximize our time there. She would periodically check if we needed anything throughout the day and usually with suggestions, which I appreciated because as a mom of two, it was nice to have someone else do all the planning for you. -Staff at the restaurants are amazing, as was room service staff Cons : -We stayed in a family suite which had two stories however, the baby gate provided was not long enough for the top floor which is really what you need it for. We used the baby gate provided to block access from the bottom to top floor but we had to use our stroller to block access from the top to bottom floor. -The food we ordered by the pool had zero flavor -There was a trampoline by the play slide / swing area that felt like an afterthought and was placed in a somewhat unsafe area. A story to share to further confirm how the staff here is truly one of a kind: My family and I had arrived to the hotel and I realized I had lost my phone at the airport. I was able to locate it on an iPad and Ana was quick to action. She contacted security at the hotel who then contacted airport security, I got an Uber to the airport and sweet sweet Ana putting my safety at the high test level of importance asked if I was ok with sharing my location with her in case I was unable to use my phone. Half way through the drive she called and said they found it and are sending someone to go get it for me. She was with my family this entire time, putting them at ease , letting them know where I was at all times. Her shift was over but she waited until I got back safely and then waited even longer until I had my phone in my hand. She went above and beyond and she did it with so much patience and genuine concern. Ana, our concierge, and Yaneli and Alejandra from the kids club made ALL the difference in the world for this trip for me and my family. It seems like they are in their element and love what they do. They put so much effort but make it seem so effortless, it sounds crazy I know but you have to experience it to understand. It was such a beautiful , memorable trip that I can only hope, I can make happen again for me and my family. If you ever read this Ana, thank you!!!!!

Amazing experience! Ana worked with us from before we got on the plane until we landed back at home. It was truly a luxurious experience and definitely worth it. Our baby sitters were amazing and my son lo...ved them. We had 4 Lesley, Celeste, Yaneli & Yuri they were all amazing. I was nervous to leave him with different women but he loved it and they all took him to play with kids.
