This was our second visit to Grand Velas (our first was Nov 2023). We enjoyed this second visit just as much as the first!!! First off, service is stellar here. The staff work to meet your every need from pre-arrival to departure. Natalia and Alexes were our concerige agents, and they made sure transportation, dinner reservations, spa reservations, and our sailing excursion were all booked and reminded us of the resort's daily events. They were always just a text away and never crowded us to cause disruption to our stay. The spa service and aqua therapy were wonderful! Pure relaxation, as well as the pool, which, by the way, is heated. Several days, we spent time napping on one of the many available chairs. We experienced all 6 of the restaurants on our previous stay. On this stay, in addition to Lucca, Velas 10, Azul, & Autor, we tried their new restaurant Sen Lin (Asian) and in the new boutique hotel - Loto Robata Grill. Our favorite for flavor was Lucca and the favorite for experience was Autor. Try them all if you have a chance. Lunch by the pool was always a hit. The Grand Class Suite was very spacious and beautifully arranged. Housekeeping did an excellent job of tidying up for us daily. This was a memorable trip for hubby and I as we bring this 2024 year to a close. Looking forward to our next stay at Gran Velas in 2025.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like the most important guests on the premises. Abdias kept us posted on dinner reservations, and was always a call or text away if we needed anything related to our stay, or even outside activities. Incredible customer service!! With 2 young kids, the Kids’ Club was an excellent resource when my wife and I wanted time to ourselves. They have activities throughout the day to make sure the kids aren’t just staring at screens for hours on end. I can’t wait for our next stay at Grand Velas - truly a world-class experience!
