The entire experience was first class. The staff there truely understand how to treat guests, I was very impressed. So much so, i'm going back next year. The dining and atmosphere at each restaurant inside... the resort was top notch. Extremely laid back...except the service, which was awesome, and the food was magnificent. The staff really caters to the clientele.

The entertainment staff was fantastic! We loved Geo, “Super Mario”, Darrel, Christopher, and Caloney was the best bartender! Also, Jordan on the saxophone was amazing! We had a great time playing beach vol...leyball with the staff too! Everyone was wonderful and our view was beautiful!

My husband and I came to this location for our anniversary. We like Sandals and have been at different locations and to Jamaica before. This was our first time at Montego Bay. We arrived for reunion week f...or returning guest. The staff were great as always. Very helpful and courteous. This Montego Bay location being the original sandals I was surprised the entertainment was pretty much non existent. I didn’t hear reggae music playing throughout the day. No Bob Marley music at all. How could that happen? I heard American music that I could hear anytime. We come to Jamaica to feel and see the culture. We would like to have had Reggae and cultural entertainment. Several guest we spoke with agreed and were disappointed. They took out their own playlist and speakers. It felt like I was at a resort in Florida. I heard that Montego Bay was an entertaining resort but it was the opposite. It was quite but relaxing. Something felt off. A few menu items were out of stock in two of the restaurants. Butches was highly recommended but the steak was not up to expectations. We are returning to sandals but will go to another location. I did enjoy the Red Line Spa. They were great! The resort and rooms were clean.

A perfect vacation again! This is our 6th trip to Sandals Montego Bay. To our surprise, it was Friends and Family Week and there were wonderful activities, special meals and trips scheduled & gifts for all... returning guests! Everyone has their special vacation place and Montego Bay is ours. We have met many returning guests here who feel the same way. Thanks to all the staff for such a lovely vacation. We always request a butler room and I highly recommend it. We have never been disappointed in the service and this time was no exception. Okeria & Serome, our butler team, were outstanding and provided exceptional service “above and beyond” anything we have ever experienced in our many visits to Sandals resorts!! It was like having 2 personal genies. They made our vacation experience the all time best, 5+ star rating. Chilled champagne for happy hour in our room with Dino's made-to-order pizza or veggies, cheese & crackers coconut & grilled shrimp. Reserved lounges each day on the beach with a cooler of our favorite beverages. Our room was super clean, beautifully furnished, the king size bed was very cozy and an amazing oversized bathroom. The mini-bar was always amply stocked. The entire staff is so warm and welcoming. I wanted to recognize a few people for their consistent hospitality and kindness each time we visit the resort. The staff is one of the main reason we continue to return to Montego Bay. General Manager, Chris Elliott, the Resort Manager, Anna-kay Wholas, the Operations Manager, Christopher and Assistant Butler Manager Horatio Brown, are always focused on making Montego Bay the ultimate experience for the guests. Everyone there makes you feel like family! The Red Lane Spa is excellent. I enjoyed a relaxing manicure/pedicure with Dishann. The Head Line Chef for the buffet breakfast, Gamalia, is outstanding and makes our breakfast experience at Bayside each morning special. The food and all the restaurants are excellent. We had the best dining experience and service at Butch's Steak house. Our server, Michandia, made our dinner magical. The chef at Bayside, Christol, creates 5 star cuisine and our server, Syrica, was so gracious. Joel, manager at Soy, always makes us feel so special with his attention to detail and his personal menu recommendations. We can't wait to return to Montego Bay in November! Read less
