One word of advice if thinking of booking; Don’t!

I would have given 0 but it was not allowed. Rooms dirty, the place is dilapidated, run down and in need of decoration. The restaurants are far from gourmet; (plastic knives and forks in two of the jerk/... burger, eateries. You cannot book the ones that are open but there are never 9 as advertised. One is open only to Prestige members. Many sunbeds are broken, towels stained (with bleach) but that doesn’t stop people laying claim to them before 06:00. Boardwalks are rotting and dangerous. We were served under cooked chicken.
Decrepit hotel! Very disappointed!

Decrepit hotel! Not worthy of calling it a resort and definitely not a five star, which we paid for! We would give it a three star! We put a complaint into Sunwing on the first day we arrived, and it took... three days for them to move us to a different resort. We would not recommend this resort. It’s very rundown and neglected, several restaurants are closed, not many amenities. Many things were broken and not repaired, including toilet paper holders in the room, and everywhere on the resort.… For the price we paid we were very disappointed. We moved to the Riu Negril and it’s much better…resort quality. The front desk, staff and customer care at Azul were very friendly and did their best to help us. The on-site Sunwing rep also did her best to help us. Our first three days in paradise were wasted, trying to get this worked out!
