The best time

Culture638418 on May 29, 2025

Traveled with 5 other people and we all felt the same. The staff here were all amazing, Cameisha is at the bar by the jerk shack was so nice, fun to chat with and made me some super tasty drinks to enjoy. ...Everyone is so friendly and it felt like they went out of their way to make our trip wonderful. The food was great, lots of variety. Lots of activities here as well. It was truly the best vacation and I can’t wait to go back!

The People Make the Difference

George V on May 28, 2025

This was our first time visiting Beaches at Negril and it was amazing. It all starts with the staff working at the resort. They made us feel welcome the second we stepped on to the resort. Montoya sat ...with us and let us know everything we needed to know while serving us drinks and lemonade for my kids. I have a gluten allergy and I visited Montoya the next day and she took care of everything for me. Letting me know what I could eat and who I needed to speak to at each restaurant. We started each day with coffee from Cafe de Paris and then made our way over to The Mill where we were waited on by Sansheya for breakfast. She served us different kinds of mimosas with our breakfast and she got to know my family by name by the end of the week. Our last day we all gave Sansheya and Kamilla a HUGE hug before we departed. After breakfast we headed to the resorts beautiful beaches and were met by Shannon. She made sure that we had 5 chairs underneath one of the huts everyday for our family. She was available to get us whatever we needed on the beach even when it rained a few days. Throughout the week we ran into the "entertainment crew": Nae Nae, Deli, Beechi, Jose, etc... they would stop and talk to us all the time. Ask how our stay was going. My daughter wasn't feeling well and Nae Nae always made sure to ask us how she was feeling. Always with a smile. Always addressed us by our names. The shows they performed are "must see" while you are staying there. My family looked forward to the shows every night. Incredible. After every show they would stop and talk to us. The hospitality did not stop there. I met Edgar from Mariachi and he made me homemade tacos. They were my favorite meal of the week. El Paso must miss his cooking. We saw Kamilla at Mariachi and The Mill and she always made time for us. Always made me smile or laugh. Raheem was our chef at Kimono and made the night a blast. He kept the energy at our table. The rooms are the rooms. You sleep in them. They don't make the week. They may be a little dated but who cares. The resort and the people make up the difference. We did not want to leave the resort and it's all because of the people that worked there. Some of the most genuine and kind people you will ever meet. I already miss them and wish they could come home with us. WE WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK. Well done Beaches at Negril! Amazing week. Amazing people!

Beaches Negril

My family just returned from a wonderful trip to Beaches Negril! We loved the staff especially our mornings with Ashara at the Stella restaurant for breakfast. She was extremely accommodating and friendl...y while dealing with our large group. The beach is beautiful here and we loved our room! We will definitely return to this resort.

Nice, but upsetting...

Seaside39504068860 on May 25, 2025

We stayed May 17-May 24, 2025. Very pretty resort. Very lush, beautiful flowers, lots of Palm and Black Olive trees. Compact, compared to the Beaches at Turks and Caicos, ...but that made getting around faster and less confusing. We stayed at the Santa Cruz Building. Rooms were comfortable but worn a bit worn. Housekeeping was great! Floors were washed daily, towels were constantly replenished as were drinks. Our 9 yr-old twins enjoyed the water parks and indoor play area and the constant trips to the frozen yogurt place! My big iissue was with a little kitten under our deck of 301/302 rooms. He was crying all night constantly. I am a cat person, working for a shelter, so I didn't mind the lost sleep. I was just so concerned for him. I went to the front desk to let them know. They told me to get in touch with the resort nurse, which I did. She said she couldn't do anything but to call the Manager of Environment and Safety (something like that) of the resort. I called but no answer. I went back to the nurse and she left a message for that manager and the manager said she'd be over to our room later. We couldn't sit in our room all day, but was told she'd leave a message on our room phone. That never happened that day or the next. I went back to the office and ended up speaking to someone in the concierge office who sent me to some "big wigs" in another office. They told me they'd have it taken care of so we wouldn't lose anymore sleep. I told them that wasn't the issue, that I was concerned about this baby's welfare...no mom around and only about a month old. They really seemed to downplay the situation. Said they'd call that Manager of Safety and Environment. I got fed up and called the SPCA of Kingston, Jamaica. I did and was told that Negril wasn't their area and to call a rescue in Montego Bay and no one was in. I would have loved to have taken the kitten who my kids named "Jammie" back to the states. However, the party I was with was totally against that. I would like to ask if anyone in management reads this if they can check on this kitten. I think you have all been numbed by hearing about resort cats and kittens from customers. "Oh no, not again!" Please, these animals have feelings - they cry tears, get depressed, anxious, etc. Call omeone who does rescue to come get him. Also, ANYONE staying in ROOM 301, 302 (or nearby) can you put water, chicken or other meat by the deck of those rooms and continue to get in touch with the managers. This whole kitty issue took a substantial amount of time and worry from a relaxing vacation.

A Wonderful Beach Getaway

Kathleen R (Oakland,New Jersey) on May 25, 2025

We recently stayed at Beaches Negril as a family of three adults and had an overall positive experience. The standouts for us were the delicious food, the exceptional staff, and the stunning beach. The be...ach is absolutely beautiful — calm and crystal-clear in the mornings, and a bit more active as the day goes on. It’s the perfect place to unwind, swim, or enjoy water activities. Keep in mind that afternoon thunderstorms are fairly typical due to the tropical climate, but they pass quickly and didn’t disrupt our enjoyment. The food exceeded our expectations, with a wide variety of flavorful, well-prepared options available throughout the resort. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared, and we appreciated the quality and variety. The staff was another highlight — once approached with a friendly greeting, they were incredibly warm, helpful, and accommodating. While tipping isn’t allowed, we felt it would be nice if it were optional, as many staff members truly went above and beyond. We did notice that the layout of the resort felt a bit more compact and less open than the Beaches Turks & Caicos property, which we’ve also visited. It wasn’t a major issue, but it’s something to consider depending on your preferences. The rooms could use some updating, particularly in terms of the electrical systems. We experienced a few minor issues there, which we hope the resort addresses soon. While it’s definitely a premium-priced vacation, we felt that the quality of service, food, and beach experience made it worthwhile. We’re already thinking about a return visit in the future.
