From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles and that was the constant the whole trip! The grounds were beautiful and easy to navigate. I loved all the kitties that were around. A lovely place for them to roam. Orlando, Shania and Royston ( I know I spelled it wrong) stood out and really made us feel at home. Although we spent most of our time in the resort, the local people that we did meet were so welcoming and always willing to share. The vibe at the resort, and Negril, was unmatched. I will return to couples as many times as I can and explore more of this wonderful island. Negril owes us nothing!

Here atm at couples retreat Jamaica. Hotel although nice is not 5 stars! Our room is like the picture when booking although the bathroom is worn out, dirty marks all over the walls etc. Good shower. Reception staff at the front staff need some costumer service training to say the least. I lost my glasses,I went to them on the first day, it was like well what do you want me to do about it attitude. Some restaurants staff as soon as they hear your English lose interest. The plus for this hotel is the beautiful beach! The food is fabulous in every restaurant so far. Drinks are really good too! Branded spirits. Entertainment is brilliant so far. Be aware some restaurants are closed on certain days and you have to Pre book. There are thunderstorms in June as well. So far its been hot in the morning and rains and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Evenings are hot..

First the good...The beach is amazing, clean, and beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. Thanks to the front desk for the upgrade to a beachfront room. The catamaran and glass bottom boat tours were awesome and a nice plus that other resorts do not offer. The food is tasty and good although the buffet could use more variety (pasta/pizza station, more meat offerings). Our favourite was Lemongrass but Feathers was great too. Beach bar delivery service is a great feature. Shout out to Javian for his excellent service and yummy drink specials. And now the rest...The resort is basically a jungle. They do not appear to do any spraying so mosquitoes and sand flies are a major issue. Other than my head, I was attacked everywhere despite diligent daily use of bug spray. The itch kept me up most nights. If you are going to keep this much vegetation, then the resort should do better than to send guests home looking like they have the chickenpox. I have been to Jamaica countless times over the last 18 years and never experienced this on any other resort. Be better to your staff. Short term (1 month) contracts are the reason why you get bad reviews when it comes to service. How can you expect your team to come to work happy when they do not know if they will have a job next month. Treat your staff well and you will in turn have happier guests. If you are leaving the resort early, do not expect to be fed. The Scotch Bonnet is supposed to be open until 5:30am for snacks but, at 4:30 there is no one around. The front desk offered nothing other than a sorry. Clearly this is not a 24 hour all inclusive. Overall the resort was okay but definitely not a 5 star.

My wife and I spent 6 nights at CSA and we enjoyed a wonderful experience. The entire experience was great. I found the added activities a huge bonus and the meals were absolutely tasty and authentic. The sunset cruise was magical - especially when we cruised by Ricks Cafe. The nightly entertainment was fantastic and CSA has a first class gym. The property is well shielded by manicured tress that provides added shade and deep serenity. The staff were also very welcoming and incredibly nice. Also, the transfers to and from the airport went very well. I’m not sure what I was expecting- however, I will definitely return to couples swept away in the future. It’s truly an amazing and relaxing vacation.

We have been to many places all over the world and this place was just okay. The beach and the water are excellent. The food was okay depending on what you order. The rooms need updating, but they were nice and cool. Small pools only one swim up bar and bar service on the beach took forever. I think one of the biggest negatives was the service. No one seemed happy to be there. They were just doing a job. I wanted more of an upscale feel where people feel special. The spa was meh and still pricy as others that offer more of the hydrotherapy pools. This one just had a hot tub and a steam sauna. Room service was only for a small continental breakfast. Other room service did not exist.
