Fantastic accommodations, delightful staff, delicious food, best beach in Jamaica! Love this place. This is our 8th time here at Swept Away. It is by far the best Couples Resort on the island, I have staye...d at all the other Couples and they can’t compare to this one!

Recommend if your top priority is the beach, but if you are going for anything other than the beach -- accommodations, food etc, -- book somewhere else. I booked for the beach, so it wasn't a total let d...own because the beach IS PERFECTION. Other than that, there's a lot left to be desired. Snack bars often ran out of food. In the morning, towels weren't stocked yet, ice wasn't filled at the water stations. Reservations for the restaurants have to be made through an app prior to your trip, which we had no idea about and were shocked when everything was full while attempting to book at concierge. I wouldn't choose to travel here again.

Here now. Absolutely amazing! Everything we hoped for. Celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary . Staff, food, room, beach everything perfect! Staying in a premiere beachfront suite and it’s stunning!!! Ha...d a massage with Nadine in the spa today! Best massage I have ever had in my entire life!

Whilst the hotel iteself was very pleasant, there were a few things that niggled. We had a broken slat lock in the bathroom, which meant privacy was affected, especially when using the toilet. Despite repo...rting this to housekeeping twice, it was never addressed. Eventually, we managed to fix this ourself. The main issue was noise. Despite booking an atrium room to avoid being close to the road, we could still hear it. Also we could hear the live music from the evening buffet restaurant, plus the noise of staff wheeling the various trolleys around ( think luggage suitcases over flagstones, and add in rattling bottles). The noise cam unexpectedly too at the pool. The leisure centre across the road hosts childrens swimming lessons, quite a surprise when you book an adults only hotel. If there is a chance of rain, bring a cagoule or other wet weather clothing, there was no provision of umbrellas in the room. Snorkelling was available on a pre-booked trip, if you could get a space, mornings are better as the wind picks up in the afternoon and trips tend to be cancelled. There are not many fish, and certainly not visible right off the beach. If you can, I would recommend booking a private transfer. Incoming flights tend to have guests waiting until there are enough to fill the bus, up to two hours, then you have a 90 minute drive to the hotel. On the plus side, the cleaner was very good, the food in the restaurants was of good quality and plentiful, with sparkling white wine at breakfast for those who wanted it. and the minibar refilling system was very good. The hotel is popular with guests from the USA, being a short flight, and there were several groups holidaying together.

The beach is amazing! The food is just food. Rooms are clean and bed comfortable. I would not return. The walls in the main buffet are a disgrace, full of food debris and stains. Dread to think what ...we couldn't see! Staff friendly. Everything as declined since we were last here 12 years ago.
