Definitely not the Service you want in such a beautiful land

We selected this hotel as it was conveniently located and accepted that it would not be as luxurious as some of the other resorts, but even with those lower expectations were very disappointed. Food Very ...little choice Usually cold Not enough food when hotel was full Raw chicken served, when raised the tray was taken away but no apology nor brought a replacement when more was cooked Food in A La carte tasteless and no different More of a concern is when i raised some of this at reception you just got a disbelieving confrontational response Service Tables in restaurant never cleared or cleaned so often difficult to find space to eat. Very hard to get anyones attention to get drinks or coffee with breakfast unless you tipped well. I do not mind doing this but as you constantly moved around to find a clean table it became very expensive Main bar unless you hand over cash or are a young female you wait a long time to get served. The newly opened Jetty bar and quiet pool bar were the only exceptions and here service was good Rooms Had most of what you needed but very shabby and in need of an upgrade broken blinds phone not working no kettle (they say 24hr tea and coffee but by 6 am it is cold and milk is off as a t is always warmed and cooled) Entertainment staff try there best and not bad for a smaller resort, but they struggle for space when it rains I go to Jamaica regularly as my partner has family there but would never return to this resort

The food was excellent, that’s a positive and bar with swings along with the bar man, sadly cannot remember his name he was really good. The was our first time to Jamaica and our last, sadly. It was awfu...l, the rooms were not as the picture was when booking it and needed upgrading. Not enough seating areas in the evenings. The staff were not very friendly if anything quite rude at times. The biggest issue was the cats, I love cats we have three ourselves, but. The they were overwhelmed with cats and kittens, they were in the restaurant begging and the staff were constantly shooing them off. Cats are not looked after, one had a limp, others had scars from fighting. I so desperately wanted to take two home with me, both young females and knew they would become young mums.
