what a sham of a place an absolute disappointment.... management and staff all very rude and it always seemed like to much hassle for them even for a glass of water or even cutlery when they all stood talking instead of relaying the tables food was very poor and always running out and never replenished when I asked about it I was told I should of come earlier it was 8 the food is not meant to finish till 9.30... I stayed in a cottage which was in a lovely location but was full of sand mites that where absolutely everywhere including all over my bed I ended up covered in bites.. I was with my niece and we where both constantly pestered by male staff even when I sat outside my hut at 6 in the morning.... not good at all absolutely appalling

Good with lots of problems

The trip started of okay at the hotel, we were really happy with the experience of Caribbean food, entertainment staff and services. Although the rooms could use updating it wasn't a complete issue as they were clean and any issues with bugs were sorted and maintenance with no problems. Even if we had to wait for a long period of time. Unfortunately that's when the good things ended. The reception staff were rude, there were many people standing around or sitting doing absolutely nothing not willing or trying to help. There were many different rules stated depending on where the guest was from UK, JAMAICA, US OR CANADA and the service you received. Bar staff and waiting staff could be rude and dismissive when they wanted and friendly to other guests. Everyday the cleaning of our room wasn't completed until we complained each day at 4-5pm it wasn't done. WiFi connection was poor always cutting out and making you sign in. Many people got an ear infection from the swimming pool while we were there including myself. When I went to see the doctor they were charging over £200 to see a doctor just to say what I already knew not including medication and delivery of the medication of £25 per person which they didn't disclose. If I had not noticed some of these additional charges they would of got away with it and all the staff said was 'sorry' to multiple people who were sick at the same time and were charging us all different amounts with the same delieved charge at time, date and place. During check out the staff tried to charge us for towels which were meant to be free of charge but staff could not provide receipts for after them verbally comfriming in front of each other with us present what they were doing. One of the people I was travelling with has a severe nut allergy which we alerted as soon as we checked in. The manager came out and spoke empty words to help with food to prevent cross contamination but never supplied any of the things promised including soya milk for a drink. Eventually we got fed up and disappointed at some of the rudeness staff was treating us with to use services or when asking questions for help. Don't think I will be staying here again which is a shame as the location is great.
