Sonesta was the perfect choice

Michelle H on Jul 20, 2024

Facility is family friendly and clean. We were in the extended stay portion and had everything we needed to feel at home. Hotel staff is incredibly customer service oriented, pool hours are perfect for families that like late night swims, and the breakfast is soooo good. Sofia is warm and welcoming in greeting breakfast goers. My grandkids especially enjoyed playing with the hotels giant jenga blocks poolside.

Amazing place to stay while you’re visiting Disneyland!

Winter S on Jul 18, 2024

Amazing hotel, they had a full kitchen in the suite, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Perfect space for my husband and I from the kids. Also the staff was amazing and understood everything we needed with our stay. The beds were so comfortable and everything was super clean. We will be staying here from now on every time we visit Disneyland!

11/10 at sonesta

Sonesta was the best hotel we stayed at! We felt very comfortable and welcoming the moment we walked in! Julio helped us get checked in and made sure we had everything we needed, he is AWESOME! It was me and my two girl friends and it was everything we needed! The room was exceptionally clean and had all of the assets we didn’t know that we needed! It included a stove sink and fridge which made traveling so easy. It was located so close to Disneyland and a plaza with tons of yummy restaurants, walking distance! The environment was very sweet and exciting which we appreciated! We will DEFINITELY be back at sonesta in the future??

Sweet 2 bedroom suites

Sj J (Chandler, Arizona) on Jul 02, 2024

Sweet surprise! stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit downstairs. Very comfortable beds, plenty of space for families. Full kitchen (a stove would of been nice) and more cooking utensils. Loved the pool and jacuzzi (lots of debris from trees around jacuzzi) but it was a nice addition after a long day at the parks. Very friendly staff and helpful. Son loved the 24 hour work out room. We loved the laundry facility. Grills were a great option for a nice BBQ. Our room was very quiet. Easy check in and out. They do charge a daily parking fee...so inquire cause I guess price can go up and down. Also just an FYI the ART does pick up at the hotel, but we found out the hard way that it is on a route that hits many other hotels along the way, so it took us quite a bit to get to the park. And we had issues all day with the ART (was not on schedule at all the day we used them) decided to uber the rest of the week. It would be an awsome investment if the hotel got their own shuttle for their own customers to make it a quicker trip to get to disney. Over all, we loved the hotel, staff and amenities we had for our week stay!

Fun Disneyland Escape: Normal - No fancy frills retreat.

Jeff A on Jun 27, 2024

The comp breakfast was good. Eggs, bacon/sausage, and pancakes that are made by waving your hand. Kids that that was really cool. They alternate between sausage one day and bacon the next. They have breakfast tacos daily. They are make your own. The meat is very bland, but they have salsa, cheese, and veggies to spice it up. Nice pool, hot tub, and gas grill to use. The pool area is really nice. The staff was really great!: Jenny was able to help me with several things and even found a box fan for me to help me sleep! Jodi was very helpful with her recommendations and anything that we needed. One of the dryers wasn't working, so she called their sister hotel next door to allow me to come over there to dry my clothes. She even listened to me complain about the dryer being broke, and handled it like a champ! I later found out that it was her birthday, so I felt kind of bad. Pam always greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome every time we came or left and always got us extra towels, etc. and had some good suggestions too. For my Midwest folks, I would compare it close to a Drury Inn - but it is dated. The ART bus was nice, but doesn't come too often at night. They also were not on schedule often, so we had to wait for almost an hour a couple of times from Disneyland. They do pick you up next door from the hotel, so it is convenient, especially if you have a walker or wheelchair in your group! Just a couple recommendations for the hotel: 1. Obviously renovations, with are already planned. 2. Additional washers and dryers. When the renovations are done, maybe you can add the ones that will text users when their load is complete! 3. Possibly add a water jug like the Sonesta next door. It would be nice to walk in from the heat and be able to grab a cold glass of water, especially with lemon or something in it. 4. The only other thing that I can thing of (and it may not even be an option), but possibly add an oven down in the breakfast room. We were able to use the stovetop for a few meals, but it would be nice to have an oven for pizzas, or bigger meals. This is definitely not a fancy hotel, but a nice, clean family friendly (and budget friendly) hotel that is close enough to the park to enjoy but just far enough away to get out of all of the craziness!
