Amazing Hawk Performance at the Renaissance Esmeralda

Was able to experience the hawk event pleasant experience would recommend for kids and families we were able to hold the hawk in our hands Jason was very informative about hawks and informed us alot of kno...wledge about the hawk we were able to see.

This is a lovely property and the rooms have been beautifually updated. The pluses: the staff are very friendly and competent; the gym is terrific as are the pools, the bakery for breakfast is great, the g...rounds are beautiful, the palce is spotless and the beds very comfortable. Negatives: we reserevd a room with a balcony but there not really balconies you can sit on; the walls are very thin and our neighbors woke us up twice; the pool deck is too crowded with chairs; they allow smoking on the patio and the cigar smoke drove us away from our table one evening and we needed to change pool chairs because of the cigar smoke. We have not stayed in a hotel that allowed smoking for years and will not do so again; the food in Cava was ok - good to mediocre; the choices were limited at The Place althought the sushi was very good. The servers - Oskar and Verigin were terrific. The spa was very nice except that there is limited availability of masseurs but Morgan managed to improve a muscle problem that I had. Ceck-in and check out were quick. There is no place to walk to around the hotel. So - in sum, a pleasant week in a good hotel with a few bumps in the road.
