Love the pool area, I walked the beach to sneak a peek at the other resorts and Fiesta Americana was definitely the best. Nice swim-up bar and very attentive pool area bartenders and servers (Andres is the best)! Morning buffet was great, turn the corner at the Chula Vista buffet line to find fresh fried tortillas and excellent Mexican fare. Darcy and his staff took great care of us! The peacocks were a fun treat for the kids!

Another amazing and unforgettable trip to Fiesta Americana! Definitely a must to stay at for their delicious food, friendly, attentive staff, and the live entertainment. We miss the place already and look forward to going back soon for another memorable trip. The people of Puerto Vallarta definitely take pride in customer service and sharing the magic of their city. We wish them nothing but the best in life.

Well where to start. This was our favorite resort in PV and the 4th time here - we skipped a year during Covid. Booked in July for travel in Nov and into Dec 2024. Didn't know at time of booking this hotel was going through construction at the pool. New adults bar and new grill was being built. For 9 out of 10 days we heard jack hammers, electric saws and hammering on metal ALL DAY LONG. When we retired to our room it was time for the loud music to start up. That went from ~8:00 pm to 11:00pm pretty much every night. If you want quiet this is not the hotel for you. Yes the ocean views are beautiful and yes the beach is great, but for us that's not enough. We save all year to go on this vacation. Food was 5 out of 10. Used to be 10 out of 10. If you're a foodie, not the hotel for you. We missed the Mexican Fiesta night because there was no notice put up to let us know when it was. Communication to guests needs to be improved. If someone could explain to me why this is rated as 4.5 star property I would greatly appreciate it. Doubtful we will be going back, I've spoken to other folks who referred us to other properties to try for our future trips to PV. Really sad that this hotel has changed so much. Management needs to take note.

We had an unbelievable stay, the visit was for our wedding on November 23, 2024, we had family and friends, party of 20, it was the perfect mixture of a family, friendly all-inclusive, but plenty of adult privacy and elegant experiences throughout the resort. After family and kids left, we enjoyed our honeymoon. Stay, went to the private adults only pool for a honeymoon experience. ***However, the number one reason we are leaving an amazing review is the staff alone!!! Adriana, our wedding coordinator, to Cesar, our photographer, Emmanuel, our event coordinator, to the entire restaurant staff, they were so amazing & personable. One of the staff members, hugged us every time we walked by, got to know us, gave us little personal gifts, because we were the wedding couple, and even walked both of us to our wedding when we came down the day of. Everything was PERFECT & stress free. The hotel was very clean and well kept. All of our guests and family were blown away with how good the food was, the variety, just amazing all around. Regardless, if you are looking for a destination, wedding, to visit, and all inclusive resort as a couple, or with your family, this is the absolute place for you, you will not be disappointed. To come back for our anniversary.

I’ve been to Puerto Vallarta numerous times and stayed in different hotels almost every time so this was my first time staying at this hotel. I’ve learned my lesson over the years to keep my expectations low, so I was thrilled to discover how awesome this little resort is. It’s true, the hotel is a little bit dated, but it is not rundown. The rooms and the property are immaculate. The beds were very comfortable. All the rooms face the ocean. My boyfriend and I paid a little bit more for a club room which enabled us to use the adults only pool and sit out on the terrace for the breakfast buffet. It’s definitely worth the money and I highly recommend it if you are wanting a little bit of a quieter vacation away from the main pool and young children. I will say though that the happy hour bar is nothing to write home about. I was disappointed in it and we did not spend any time there after checking it out one evening for a couple of minutes. I found the food to be very enjoyable. There’s lots of choices so you definitely won’t go hungry. As mentioned in numerous other reviews, the service at this hotel is second to none. Everybody is so nice and really fun to interact with, especially at the Sonne Club. Rafael and Nacho were fantastic, as was the young lady that worked there, but I’m sorry to say that I didn’t catch her name. I also want to give a shout out to the amazing young lady that greeted us most mornings at the breakfast buffet. Again, I can’t remember her name (Danae?) but she has short dark hair, and she could be a Disney princess. You’ll know who I’m talking about as soon as you meet her. She is pure joy and every interaction I had with her left me feeling so happy. There is some construction going on at the hotel. They are upgrading the elevators as well as building a new restaurant down by the beach. It’s not wonderful to have to listen to the noise throughout the day but these things need to take place in order to make the hotel better so it is what it is and it didn’t bother us too much. Just a little tip, there’s a coffee shop inside the gift shop. Had a lot of people asking me where I was getting my coffee from. I guess they were not made aware of it so I’m spreading the word. I don’t understand the negative reviews of this hotel. I’ve travelled quite a lot, and I was very happy with this hotel and when I go back to Puerto Vallarta, this is the hotel that I will book.
