Mexican hospitality and relaxing vibe

The staff is attentive and welcoming. Their hospitality makes you feel like part of their family! We come here regularly and belong to the Fiesta Americana vacation club. This is one of our favorite resorts. The resort if family friendly but also quiet enough for older adults to enjoy. There is also an adults only pool area called sonne. It has its own staff and menu. Some of the best views of the bay are from sonne. Special thanks to the lobby bar staff who took such good care of us. Thank you Esme, Liliana, Antonia, and Leo. Much gratitude to our concierge Lea and her team who always made sure we had what we wanted.
Family Trip to Mexico - 2024

As a second time returning to the resort, seeing familiar faces from the staff made it extra welcoming! Donae, Karen, Gume, Jamie - we had these servers in the various restaurants and they were all great! Jenny from kids club checked in on our son daily, even though he never built the courage to go participate during our stay. Patricia was our housekeeper, and she did a great job in the room each day. Darcy was a manager we saw daily at breakfast, and he also would checkin to ensure our stay was going well and see if he could assist with dinner reservations to ensure that was taken care of. Margarito was stationed at the omelette section of breakfast, and some days he would have ours ready for us before we even made it into the line (knowing our preferences each time). Of course, there are many unsung hero’s (too many to name) in resort operations, all of whom play an important role in making sure that day to day unfolds without concern. Our stay was “super excellente” and the perfect escape to sand and sun, during the winter months at home.
Thank you David

We were spoiled from the very beginning when we arrived at fiesta Americana, Puerto Vallarta. We were booked into a fiesta club room. One of the perks of a fiesta club room was that we had a lounge on our eighth floor. Manning the lounge was a wonderful young man named David. He was the bartender and host. David was able to make special request cocktails and he certainly did that. He even made me Cadillac margaritas. One day he went out of his way to get some watermelon to make another guest a watermelon Mojito. He always served us with a smile and kindness. One evening, while we were at a different bar David even sent me over one of my special cocktails to our table. How considered is that? Thank you FAPV and thank you DAVID!!!!

Review from a family with small children. We just got back from Fiesta Americana and we want with our kids aged 4 and 3 and other family members with kids aged 5, 3 and 1. To be honest I was looking forward to some “wow” service based on the previous reviews and I would say this hotel is a 3 star. Here are the good parts: - smaller resort so easier to get around to -beachfront access is nice -easy to get pool chairs in the morning -breakfast buffet had a good variety -deli was super handy to grab a latte, sandwiches or fruit -housekeeping was done early and helped keep our room tidy -Mexican restaurant is super tasty -shallow kids area separated out -pool servers and bartenders are the friendliest -room service menu had a good amount of variety and we used it often -the hostess at Rozado with short black hair Danane, that worked in the evening was so kind to our family and especially our kids. She gave them little toys and she was so hospitable. What I don’t understand is why she doesn’t serve at the restaurants. She goes above and beyond and I think she would help enhance the server experience. All the servers we encountered were male. -there is a young guy that works the deli in the evening with short hair, he was super kind and very helpful -beds were comfy -Mexican night was super tasty -close to the airport and town -it felt safe at the resort Here are the low parts: -one pool that needs to be updated, there are missing tiles and sharp edges. Two family members cut their feet in the pool -no pool slides -the rooms need to be updated, at least our family room needed it. My parents room looked updated -there is only a buffet in the morning so it’s tricky for young kids for lunch and dinner. Sometimes at the grille by the pool they would have the buffet but I really think they need a lunch buffet…Or at least stock up the deli. -the morning lady at the deli (a bit older) seemed to get annoyed if we asked for more than 2 apples. We had 5 kids among the family and that apple would hold them over before we could get lunch. I tipped after my coffee hoping we would have a better experience but it was hit or miss with her. -a hot tub would be a nice to have at the resort -it would be nice if there was an outdoor kids play area like a playground which you see at other resorts -not many options for vegetarians and we had two in our group -no evening entertainment, usually only some singers or on Mexican night. Overall my kids really enjoyed their trip but since I’ve been to other all-inclusive resorts, I think there is better bang for the buck.

My review is focus on the sonne club, adult only pool. Mariam, Nacho, Rafa and Leo were amazing. One of the best services I have ever had in an all inclusive. They were catering to the needs of our group. They went above and beyond! I would come back to this resort just to have them taking care of us. Polite, attentive and engaging. Food was great and drinks were amazing. Muchos gracias los equipo!
