The arrival at the hotel was a challenge. We were 9 guests spread into 4 rooms across the grid whereby there would be 20 minute walks between us. We had people who were not couples sleeping together. Chec...king in took an hour. The desk staff wanted only to move us anywhere.

I will be going next week and hope that they will be playing Spanish music. I went to Breathless last year and the one thing that I did not like was that they played English music the whole time. It did n...ot feel like I had left the United States and that I was sitting on a beautiful beach in Dominic Republic. Hyatt Dreams Cap Cana, please, please, play some Spanish music, some Merengue, bachata and some Juan Luis Guerra would be great! You will see that people will be happier, even the staff will be happier. Thank you in advance.

I enjoyed my stay, it's a resort to relax. Few things to consider: alcohol is high quality and the purest I have ever tried in Cap Cana, so try your best to control yourself. After 10:30 there's no disco, ...just drinking bars open, until 12;00am. There's great ice cream at the coffee bar. Mediterranean restaurant for the preferred ones, is NOT better than the buffet. There's not really difference between preferred and regular ones. The so called “butler” was not good for us, he got confused and left the contact letter in a random room, according to him, we did not see him at all, probably because me and my family are locals, we speak Spanish and are Dominicans living in DR, but we paid for that service, so there’s NO excuse. On the other hand, everyone is pretty respectful, willing to help, you are totally safe in this hotel. Rooms are clean. And the pool entertaining is great!.
