Lovely stay with room to improvement!!!

Stayed here for 7 nights with my husband and had an amazing time. Let me start by saying that The staff is super friendly and helpful but there were a few things that disappointed us. As a guest and also as a colleague ( I work in a 5 star hotel) I am very disappointed as to the way we were mislead into thinking that we were going to another location to get our welcome massage but instead we were there to potentially join the Travelers Club. I would rather that you told me straight away why I was there for and although I told the representative to go straight to the point and to be brief she proceed to talk for 1 hour or more, calling “assistência” several times to convince us that we should join the club. And when I said I wasn’t going to commit to anything the attitude and body language changed immediately. So overall waste of my time. As to housekeeping, our bed linen was never changed the duration of our stay and on the day before departure the room wasn’t cleaned at all…
Disappointing Experience

All-inclusive very expensive for the quality of food. The resort is fabulous, but the service is lacking promptness. The room was a little small and the construction of the shower caused massive amounts of water leak the bathroom floor. We had to use three towels to collect the water. The specialty restaurants were very good, but the buffets were unacceptable.
