Nice place, horrible service

Honestly would’ve enjoyed this place if not for the service of the staff. Requesting a water refill as instructed waited probably 3 hours for it. When I asked about the status I was told you know what a Dominican hour is right and laughed by a member. The staff brings your water 15 mins later , coffee if you’re lucky to still be eating. Service was super slow, had to call 3 to 4 times to get anything done. The resort is nice but having such inconveniences like these made us reconsider if we would go back here. When you don’t ask for much and still can’t have it done becomes an issue. Might go to another place next time.

We had a pleasant stay during our one-week visit in May. Although the rooms are outdated, they were clean. I particularly enjoyed the lush vegetation throughout the resort, and the food was satisfactory. However, there are several areas that need improvement: - On the beach, there are not enough shaded chairs. It is a real struggle to find one if you arrive after 8 AM. - People should be reminded that eating in the pool is not allowed. I saw a lot of people with plates in the water. - While I appreciated the open-air restaurants, a solution for the flies needs to be found. There were always flies on the meat and fish, which is unacceptable and gross. - The drivers of the golf carts are quite aggressive. One night, our shuttle was hit by another one driving recklessly while we were returning to our villa. Fortunately, I was holding onto the side bars, otherwise I would have fallen. Overall, our stay was enjoyable, but addressing these issues would significantly enhance the experience for future guests.
