We split our vacation between Grand Palladium Punta Cana section (3 days) and the Bavaro section (7 days). Writing a review for the Punta Cana section because the Bavaro section is closing in April for renovations. This is a very large resort and if you venture to each pool and different buffets you can go somewhere different every day. Punta Cana section has 2 pools very close to each other with food truck and a huge kids play section. I believe they can go into the kids club building and also there is an outdoor play area with a small zip line, albeit a very hot spot. The food at the resort was very good with so much variety that I don't know how anyone can complain. We saw offerings that we have never seen at any other resort. When we were at the Bavaro section we were told by staff to go to the Palace Buffet for dinner that it was superior BUT our group of 8 were disappointed. It is like a cafeteria, very bright and loud with a small selection of food. We found this to be the same at the Punta Cana section. The Bavaro section had a beautiful large eating area inside with live music (violinist or saxophone) It wasn't super bright lights and had an outdoor eating area which we always ate in. Why be inside when you are down south. The service at all buffets was always very good. We preferred the pool in the Punta Cana section over the Bavaro pool, the Punta Cana pool had an island with grass and palm trees, was shallower and had a wide stairs entry. The lobby at the Bavaro section was very alive at night, and also had a large outdoor seating area with quick waitress service in the lobby and outdoor area. I would say the rooms are all quite good, our group of 65 all had some issues in their rooms at the Bavaro section but none of us were complainers and just dealt with them. Our room in the Punta Cana section for our last 3 days was perfectly fine. I don't know how anyone wouldn't be happy with this resort. Multiple areas with things to do, good food, a really good Sports Bar. Most walkways are covered with long palapas to protect from the sun and rain. You can walk forever and discover the lobbies and buffets, pools at Punta Cana, Bavaro and Palace. You can walk easily everywhere or take a shuttle from all of the lobbies. Overall, a great resort!
Not worth the money!

No reservations for dining available, constant money grab, go elsewhere! Had good activities area and beautiful beach but not really all inclusive as you always had to pay extra. Rooms were dingy, bathroom ceiling leaking, response to calls poor.
