This is not a 5 star resort. Check in and out is really bad. The rooms are falling apart but clean. No bugs. We were in building 19. They are under staffed so you will be waiting for an hour for your drink...s/food in some of the restaurants. Zen was good, Oceanside at lunch ( buffet) is good. The food was lacking. Spa is beautiful and great service. Entertainment was good. The DJ comes out after the shows and that is the best. The beach was messy, lots of seaweed and sandy/dirty lounge chairs. They try to trick you into sitting in to listen to timeshare sales so be alert. They told my mom they had special coupons for her that came with her reservation and it was a ploy to get her to come sit thru a sale. Teen lounge is a joke. A lot of the games were broken and the others you had to pay for. Lazy river is cool. Bring your own floaties. Drinks were good. Overall it was disappointing but we still had fun. Just wouldn’t go back. Tip: Get a swim up/bring your firestick/ Get down to check out 45 minutes before your pick up time/Get a cabana

Pros: Delvis my personal butler was excellent. 10/10. Vilme was amazing. He explained how to utilize our diamond club experience. We met GiGi during a tour and she was energetic and fun. It was other s...taff specifically in the diamond lounge that were very accommodating. Cons: We had two rooms under the same reservation and they would not place our rooms together initially. It wasn’t until I checked into my room which was just cleaned and it was a dead waterbug. Only then did they move our rooms closer together. I understand that bugs can get into the room. However this was a recently cleaned room and the bug appeared to be very dead. I truly enjoy staying at the Royalton. This is my 4th Royalton within the last year and I had become use to the exceptional experiences. While it wasn’t my best experience it will not stop Me from returning.
