I just returned from 6 days at Secrets Cap Cana and what a great trip it was! Esperanza in the preferred pool section is the main reason why I love this resort so much. Others also in the preferred who are fabulous are Javier, Julia, Teofilo, Richal, Yuleisy, Rigoberto, Xiomara, Bioty, Zunilda, and Eddy Murphy in the French Restaurant. They are all so pleasant and nothing is ever too much for them. Service at this resort can not be matched! I can not wait to return.

To those looking for a “home” resort, you will find almost everything at secrets Cap Cana! This was our 3rd visit and our 30th anniversary! You will find many travellers with multiple visits and there is a reason why (Russell & Sabrina, Brian & Jan, etc)! Yes, the property is beautiful and your arrival makes you wish you never have to leave!! But it’s the people that welcome you here (Angel at Preferred Check-in and Elvira of the Front Office). We purposely requested our butler from previous years, Carlos, and he never disappoints. If you are lucky enough to get Carlos, he will "wow" you! But if you get Anabel, Miguel, or Pellier as your butler, you will be in great hands. We were fortunate to have our youngest daughter, our oldest daughter and her boyfriend, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law join us this time to celebrate our 30th year achievement. Thankfully, Carlos was able to take care of all of us. If you have the pleasure of just meeting Carlos, he makes you "RELAX". There were many moments Carlos stood out and the ways he took such good care of us. It started before we even left home as Carlos stays in touch with us throughout the year. What more can I say about Carlos. Even butlers that are other guests care takers, check in on you (Anabel, Miguel, Pellier). Secrets is very fortunate to have soo many amazing team members. In no specific order; we were touched and treated above and beyond by; At Rosewater - Rigorberto (p yoyo), Esperanza, Stephany, Javier, Francisco, Angela, Wanel, Richal, Teofilo, Jesus, Keila. At our Swimout - Benjamin (Benji), Jackson (Michael), Maria (Santa), Ruth, and Rowdi. Benito at the Sugar Reef, must ask for his special drink. I must also mention Michael (mini), one of the wine sommeliers, him and I are truly brothers!. Special shout out to Ceceila and Carlos (mama juana) at the Portofino (italian restaurant) that helped make our celebrations even more special and to Reyaes of Amstar, a true ambassador of the island. And cant forget to mention Sofia (house keeping), how they keep our rooms impecible! There are so many more and I wish I could remember everyone that make this place so special. Thanks to all of you for truly making us feel better than family!! Cap Cana will forever hold special memories and we look forward to our next return “home”! And again, thanks to Carlos for all that you do and are and for making all of us feel amazing. We truly live by your motto, “Relax”. And bring that to our everyday lives! You have left an impression on us forever!! U are a true gift and because of you, will we be back. All the best to your family!! You will not be disappointed if you choose this resort with your hard earned money. The people here appreciate you! Can’t wait to return….

Secrets Cap Cana was absolutely incredible. If you’re looking for a beach vacation where you can simply sit back, relax and kick your feet up, always have a drink in your hand and food in your belly, and not have to worry about much else -this is the place for you. The hotel gives elegance with the various yummy restaurants. I recommend getting the flank stank & salmon at the grill, the surf and turf at oceana followed by the lemon pie, or the sushi at the Asian restaurant. It was so nice having a breakfast buffet available every morning as well. This place is wonderful for easy going crowd. We relaxed lots and also participated in some of the activities like the culinary tour, the egg toss, bingo, cornhole and would highly recommend attending the Latin Show in the theatre. The circus show was also great. The staff here are like no other. Staff members like Ely, Beyonsay, Rihanna, La Diva, Smile & OMG made this place home. We actually felt like we were leaving friends when we had to go home. And when we return, it will be them we will be looking for. So many great laughs and memories with these folks. Secrets Cap Cana is where it’s at. We came here for our honeymoon, also to find out I was pregnant just before our trip. This was everything we could have asked for and more. Relaxation meets luxury meets family. 10/10 recommend.

Secrets Cap Cana is beautiful! When you arrive, you are greeted with bubbly and a wet towel. You check in and then your butler takes you to your room. At check in you are given a golden key and told that you need to visit the VIP desk in the first 24 hours to redeem multiple discounts throughout your stay. The resort is a very nice size. The grounds are gorgeous. The pool is amazing. There is a really nice beach. The lounge chairs and palapa are comfy, nice and well spaced out. They have excellent beach service. The women on the beach were incredibly friendly and so attentive. The rooms are very nice. Clean, beautiful furnishings. Comfy beds, great sheets, robes, slippers, soft towels. Bath has a massive shower. Our room was a standard. It had 2 “double” beds which were actually queens. We didn’t have a view but we also only spent time in the room to sleep or when there was rain. Drinks were great although I would recommend ordering double. I was disappointed in the restaurants. There were specialty restaurants of steak/seafood, Italian, French, Japanese and Mexican. The food was mediocre at best. It sounded fancy but was not wonderful. The restaurant by the pool and beach was ok but not wonderful. They have a coffee bar where you can get all kind of coffee drinks + milkshakes + alcohol, pastries, juice. The buffet is only open breakfast and lunch. The buffet was by far the best food. For breakfast, they had everything you can imagine: omelet stations, eggs any way, meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurt, pastries, mimosas, mto crepes, waffles, French toast, prosciutto, salad, fresh juices, fresh fish cooked to order and it goes on. Lunch was similar w more hearty selections and incredible desserts including assorted gelato and other incredible desserts including bananas foster! Room service was mediocre. The only alcohol that you can order to the room is wine. The house wine is included. It was pretty good, especially the bubbly! Premium wine is additional. You cannot order cocktails to the room. The mini bar has el president beer and soda. No snacks. A butler is assigned to each room. Our was very nice but I did find them to be a little annoying. They make all your dinner reservations for you and the spa. It just felt like they were laying it on heavy for a tip, but he was very kind and hard working. The spa: had a 60 min deep tissue massage. It was good and relaxing but not like the therapeutic deep tissue I am used to. The spa is beautiful with great amenities. Bring a suit so that you can enjoy the pool there. The spa was worth it. If you have multiple people get a package. It saves you a ton This is almost all a couples resort. There is no nightlife. It is quiet at night. It is not crowded. Even at the pool where the chairs are close together still felt very spacious. The golden key: Is a vacation club. They tell you they are not a time share and that it is not high pressure. Come to a 90 min presentation included breakfast at the buffet and we will give you x$ in resort credit. There were 5 of us, we got 450. It was fairly low key compared w previous time share pitches I have been to. It was not 90 min. It actually could be a very good deal for the right people. You pay a fee and then you get to book at any participating resort or any Hyatt for a very discounted rate. Plus other amenities Ike access to bigger better rooms, exclusive restaurants, a private separate beach, extra amenities. It can be shared amongst friends and family and can have 6 primary users. You are able to book for other family or friends as well. The catch being, when you travel you want to stay at all inclusive resorts. This was definitely a nicer all inclusive but they are not my first choice. I feel like it’s kind of like a cruise on land. I am more of a free independent spirit when I travel! In summary if you’re going to the DR, want an upscale all inclusive that is calm and quiet secrets cap Cana is a great choice!

The service was fabulous they went above and beyond for things we asked for. The property is very clean and just gorgeous! The weather was perfect and the food was always wonderful! Our butler Miguel was there for whatever we needed and always found us everyday to check on how we were doing!
