From the UK. Spent 2 weeks in Dominican, 2nd week here at Secrets Cap Cana, and I wish I was here for the 2 weeks. On arrival, welcome from the hotel was unbelievable. Made me and my wife feel so welcome...d. We booked for swim up room which was very pleasant. Dosent get much sun there, but to he fair, we were always by the beach and pool for most of the day. First, I need to comment on the staff. This has been my 4th resort in the Dominican, I can easily say, the staff here are the most friendliest I have ever experienced. They were always smiling and wanting to talk to you. Always wanting to help and serve. The entertainment staff on the beach were awesome. Always engaging with the guests and working so hard. Our allocated concerige, Jeison Calderon, was absolutely superb and so helpful. We would always come and greet us everyday and spend time, asking how we are and if there was anything we could do. Any small issues we had, Jeison always sorted it within the hour. Even when we finished our holiday and got back home, Jeison texted to ask if we got home alright. If you do come here, ask for Jeison for your concierge. The beach. I can say that this was the best beach I have ever been on. As Cap Cana is like a gated area of the island, the beach was free from sellers and animal owners wanting to bother you for photo opportunities. The beach water was calm and lovely. It was easy getting a bed on the beach late morning as there was plenty of beds to go round. The hotel as a policy no towels to be left on beds at stupid o'clock which is refreshing. The Food Overall, food was great. The beach, normally had a barbecue/domican food stall everyday, serving food and premium beers for all which was great. Most evenings, the gardens of the hotel held a themed night of serving specialty food, which was lovely and romantic. Breakfast in the buffet was always great. Very busy, but always had what you want. Only went to the buffet once for lunch, and it was OK. My favourite al la carte was the Mexican. Food was smashing and all staff there were so friendly and welcoming. My only disappointment would be that the main buffet restaurant was not open in the evening, only for breakfast and lunch. Pools The infinity pool was out of this world. Lovely views onto the beach, and live entertainment which was chilled. Main pool was very busy and had a great atmosphere. Night Entertainment Overall was good. Disappointed was the Queen tribute which was awful and turned into something other than a tribute. Prefer or not to prefer. We spent the week previously at Secrets Royal Beach as Preferred, which I thought was a waste of time. We decided not to go Preferred at Cap Cana, and to he honest, the way we were looked after and treated, we didn't need it. Always top notch service all the time.. Overall, a fantastic holiday, with beautiful views, excellent staff, and wonderful memories.

I had the best time here. This was my first trip out of America and everyone was beyond amazing! They made it so easy and helped us set up an excursion we went on. While on sirlte everyone was Very friendl...y and helpful. And at the pool Alex and Johan went above and beyond for our large group treating us just like family. I definitely will be coming back!!

My wife and I had another fantastic week at Secrets Cap Cana in the DR. We would start by thanking the UVC represenatives, Liz, Christine, and Julieanna for their ongoing service and commitment to making ...our week most memorable. Our butler Enrique was always available and commited in making our stay perfect. Our housekeepers Maria and Marcia were exceptional with twice/day service. The dining was wonderful everytime and the dining personal including Omar, Melvin, Michael, Robert, Geraldo, Miguel, Enoc, Luis, Yasmine, Clarise, and Rosa who make every meal great. A shout out to the wonderful La Diva, our entertainment coordinator and the staff at the Perferred bar fo their Karaoke night was really fun. The Baracuda bar was in front of our suite with Danny Boy, Judi, and Inita, their service was always top notch!! This was our fifth time at Secrets Cap Cana and we look forward in returning next year.

My husband and I went here on a business related trip. We had a blast! If you have never been to the DR the beach and ocean are absolutely the best. The water is some how less salty and the sand is really ...soft. Definitely swim out or take a kayak and enjoy yourself. There is so much to do. Many bars and lots of food. I'll say the poolside drinks are really strong! We had to ask them to pour less alcohol. We did have wonderful servers- Ruth, Judit, Roudy. We also had a wonderful room concierge- Gerardo. We didn't need much attention from him being a lot of the day was already planned for us with business engagements but he was always checking in to make sure we were having a good time. The food buffets were great and dinner was also wonderful. I wasn't as impressed with the seaside dining hut as I was the other restaurants (patio, portofino, bourdoux and Asian hibachi). But you can't go wrong. This place is very luxurious and should please any traveler.
