Where to start! From the moment we arrived it felt like we were celebrities! Always making sure we had a drink in our hand, from making sure we had full bellies! This place was top notch! From the Bad ass... bottle service under the cabana's by the pool from the one and only's. Miguel, Angel and all the bartenders always having a smile on there face, making millions of drinks a day!!! ... to the homemade pizzas by the pool...that were 10/10 one bite- everyone knows the rules! The buffet & restaurants- thank you for all great meals- and putting up with either 14 hungover girls in the morning or 14 wild & crazy girls as the day went on; you made us feel right at home...The rooms were perfect, beds made ya sleep like an angel even though alcohol was in our system 24/7?? nobody heard no one snore! BUT most importantly the ones who made the trip extra extra special... was the Entertainment Team!!!!! DJ David and DJ Jhonatan kept the beat going! Oscar, David, José de aquagym, & Angy...From all the laughs, dance moves, shots, to Olympic races, foam party, to lap dances, pool volleyball, to the great shows, silent disco, & just crazy shenanigans that happened ...they do it all! Hospitality 10/10. We will cherish all the memories and moments with them & look back on all the crazy pictures and videos, we get sad at times because we're not there anymore, but we're lucky and blessed it happened, and know we will be back. It wasn't a goodbye- it was a see ya later! Hats off to the entire staff... from bottom to the top- wish we remembered all your names - promise next time!!! Thank you for your hospitality! It was worth every penny! VIVA MEXICO!!!!!!!

I was with a large group that was maybe a little loud and having fun that unfortunately caught the attention of a certain security guard that made it his mission to keep busting our asses. The rest of the ...staff were great and helpful it’s unfortunate that one bad apple ruined a potentially great holiday for 20 people

The Wyndham Alltra Playa Del Carmen is a great place for people of all ages! I went with three friends for our college senior year spring break trip. They had so many activities to keep you entertained thr...oughout the day, and the staff was awesome! Specifically, Oscar and David were two of the best entertainment staff! They were always getting people involved and it was great getting to know them throughout the week. Miguel was also our favorite bartender! He was super friendly and always made us laugh! Overall, I would definitely recommend this resort if you're looking for some fun, but also looking to have a relaxing vacation!!

The staff and food were amazing! Best we have had yet at any All-inclusive. Each restaurant had a unique and thoughtful menu that varied throughout our stay (10 days) so we never got tired of it and the se...rvice was always A++. Our room was large and very clean & comfortable and the views of the Caribbean and Cozumel were outstanding. We highly recommend an ocean front room as some of the standard rooms didn’t have windows or a private balcony space. There is always something to do at the beautiful pools and the event planning is great. A big plus is the hotel’s location and its access to 5th Avenue and other local fare of Playa del Carmen. The tours booked through the hotel were great and reasonably priced providing us days of fun! The only downside, through no fault of the hotel, the sargassum is a big problem. We stayed in an ocean front room and some days the smell was almost unbearable, forcing us to keep the door closed and not enjoy our balcony or view, which we paid extra for. Because of the beach erosion, there is no access to the bay, for machines to come in and haul it away. There were workers daily, moving it and raking it around but the only place to put it was back into the water. After 2 days of high winds the wall of it built up several feet high, and the smell was very strong & acrid again. Apparently it is unusual for it to be in this heavy in March so if you are planning a trip here, watch YouTube videos like The Rope Monster for updates on the beaches and sargassum around Playa. Thank you to the staff at the Wyndham, our family trip was memorable and our stay was amazing and we would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely resort, amazing staff and service. The hotel is spotless with cleaning going on round the clock. Great choice of restaurants and drink options, good quality and variety of food served in all locatio...ns. The beach is now only a tiny strip at the north side of the hotel and not as appears in pictures but there are a good number of loungers there and a beautiful beach bar. The pool area is LOUD constant music and DJ chat very limited availability of sun loungers all being reserved from early morning and lots of cabanas round the pool taking up valuable space, if you head there after lunch you can normally find a couple that have been vacated. The roof top pool with the swim up bar is lovely but limited in space but a great sushi restaurant.
