We all very much enjoyed staying at the Barcelo Tropical resort and said we would 100% come again and will definitely be recommending to family and friends. Everything about the resort from staff, food, ea...sy access to the pool and beach to the fitness center and spa we loved!! 10/10

## Disappointing Premium Experience - Multiple Serious Issues Our stay at this property fell far short of expectations, with problems beginning immediately upon arrival. Despite the hotel being aware tha...t our wedding group (60 people) would be arriving simultaneously on two buses, they staffed only two employees at reception. This resulted in families with hungry children waiting in line for over an hour. To make matters worse, we were all required to complete tedious paperwork containing information that had already been provided to Transat. For a supposedly premium experience, this level of disorganization was unacceptable. The poor experience continued when the bathroom sink in our room literally fell and shattered during normal use. Despite reporting this as a "plumbing emergency," maintenance took over an hour to respond. Most concerning was the noticeable difference in service quality depending on whether guests were perceived as English-speaking tourists or Latin American. This type of discriminatory treatment is completely unacceptable in the hospitality industry. Finally, the food quality was mediocre at best. For a hotel marketing itself as a premium destination, the culinary offerings were disappointingly basic. I cannot recommend this property to travelers expecting professional service, proper maintenance, consistent treatment of all guests, or quality dining options. There are far better options available at this price point.
