this review is my opinion, i have been to many all inclusive resorts, we are a group of 8 people, and went for a week. We stayed in room 2417. we overall give this resort an 8/10 and would say it’s a 4 sta...r resort. feel free to read this entire review or skim through it! food/restaurants/room service: We tried every restaurant expect for caribbean. i would say we give the restaurants 8/10, the food was good it just too forever to get it. the service at the restaurants they were on top of it such as always refilling water and communicating with you. our favorite place was Zen and Agave as we kept ordering food and it was the best tasting. The buffet was okay, we only liked it for breakfast and it does have a weird smell in that building. Our favorite place for breakfast and lunch was Dorado, it was very good. The food trucks was a good finger picking food and something you can get fast. We got room service every night after a long night out and it just depends on the night, some days it would take longer and some would be quick but the food was tolerable and warm. entertainment: Every night they have some kind of show/entertainment at the royalton side and the hideaway side. Such as the white party, foam party, bingo, mariachis, and live music. Big shoutout to sergio, jonathan, david, and the rest of the entertainment team as they try to make sure you have a great stay and enjoy the entertainment/shows. Pool volleyball has to be one of the best things ESPECIALLY tequila volleyball SO SO fun. I would say we give entertainment 8/10 as they were all very nice, had good shows, but we just wished there was more games at the hideaway pool like connect4, ring toss, or something of that sort but we understand why there isn’t as the older crowd likes to relax and be in a quieter vibe. bars: I would say our biggest complaint about the bars is that it takes such a long time to get a drink, especially in the pool bar. They truly need to have more bartenders as they truly only had one before behind the bar. they should also invest in more cups or even get their own branded cups as they were running out and were giving us random cups for our drinks like we were getting shots in espresso martini glasses lol. our favorite bar was the hideaway poolside bar and the lobby bar. Big shoutout to Juan and Miguel as they were very attentive, always got us drinks, and even gave us drinks when we didn’t ask for it! I would say we give the bars 4/10 mostly because drinks were ok, they dont allow more then one order of shots, and service was slow. rooms: We were in room 2417, which is the presidential suite and honestly it was amazing. Such a nice room, always AC, our own rooftop pool, and modern. Our cleaning lady Veronica was so sweet and always did a great job as she organized our things, made us cute designs with our towels, and always made sure we were stocked up. View was great as we had ocean view, infront of the hideaway pool, and had our own roof to see thunder storms and the stars. I would say we give the room a 10/10 as it was always maintained, cleaned, beautiful, and overall mazing. beach/pools: We came May 2025, the beach was terrible honestly. It had a lot of seaweed, they tried to clean it every morning but it didn’t help. The sand was very soft and nice but the amount of seaweed was just the killer. Further out is much more of the clean blue water which was nice. They do have beach volleyball which is fun, they have about 3 beach bars, and also plenty of beach chairs. Overall we give the beach a 6/10 because of the seaweed and also the alligator that roams the area/water. The pool was where we were everyday we didn’t even go to the beach once expect for beach volleyball. The pool is fun as they have pool volleyball and other events, water temperature of the pool changes everyday, but they have plenty of pools to choose from. Our only complaint about the pool is that we WISHED so bad that they had music. We give the pool an 8/10 mostly because it didn’t have music, pool bar service took forever, and not enough pool games. spa: With our room/section we got a hydro therapeutic message which included a few different spa pool jets, cold and hot plunge, and a head/scalp massage. We would give the spa a 9/10 it was relaxing and made us want to get more and enjoyed that it was part of our package. extras: Our butler Gina was amazing, she was super attentive and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. There is a lot of construction going on and remodeling but we didn’t really notice it during our stay. The ice cream shop is really good, deserts are also really good, and the gift shop is surprisingly reasonably priced. The casino was fun and we mostly just played craps and was able to make some money. overall we had a good time and would say that this is a 4 star resort.

Anibal and Rogelio were the best bar tenders. Tended to all of our needs and were so friendly and attentive! Highly recommended to come to the resort just to have fun with all of them! 10 out of 10!!! I ca...nnot even put into words how wonderful all these workers are.
