Quick but fantastic stay

Returning from yet another fabulous stay at the Fairmont. Quick trip this time, only three nights, so we consolidated our time between the beach and spa. The weather can be unpredictable in November, but we lucked out with sunny days; not too hot, or steamy, with a constant calm breeze. We were fortunate to be assisted by Filiberto at the beach each day. He always gave us a wonderful palapa and provided attentive service with excellent beverage and food recommendations. We were definitely spoiled at the spa with our massages every day. A big thank you to familiar faces like Ixchel, but also a shout out to new providers (to us) Dayana and Kenya. The completed renovations at spa are indeed a nice upgrade from where the facilities were just a few years ago. Breakfast at Brisas with Oasis and La Laguna with Diana were a great kick start to each day. Thanks to Eric at Tauro for his recommended ribeye and shrimp feast. We recommend making spa and dinner reservations in advance of your arrival. This can easily be had with a Guest Reservations Manager/Concierge like Gabriella. She coordinated all of our dinner & spa appointments with ease, but most importantly got us into the section of hotel we desire the most. The relaxing beach with numerous large palapas and friendly staff will keep us coming back to this Fairmont, our paradise in the jungle!
Great vacation

The resort staff truly shines from the minute you show up to the pool bar to the beach front. Food is solid everywhere you go and does not disappoint if you have the all inclusive package. Great experience and would go back again. Omar the Bellman was great checking in and checking out and the staff at pool bar are a blast.
