Great proximity to beach, clean, and modern. However, I do not recommend spending money on Sunny's Spa, it's just not worth the price. Try to catch the Sunset Market and warmer weather for the beach, but outside of that, there is not much else to do in the area. It's a great place to go if you are just planning to relax, breathe fresh air, and eat a lot.

Very comfortable bed and very clean room. Staff was great and its prime location. The set up of room was great and all of the events staff were helpful. The food had great flavor and better than most we have been to. Everyone was very helpful and polite.

The most beautiful beachfront property with the most amazing staff! Everything was top notch. Everyone was so welcoming to my husband, 7 month old and I. A special thank you to Diana & Ashley at the front desk. They were very accommodating and friendly. The beach rambler staff was great as well. We are looking forward to returning in the future. I am just overwhelmed with gratefulness to the entire staff of Mission Pacific for their commitment to customer service, their genuine care and attention to detail, and most of all, their honesty and integrity. It speaks volumes about the way this hotel is managed. For context, my husband I spent one Saturday morning exploring Oceanside and we both became intrigued by the sister properties located directly across from the boardwalk, gorgeous ocean facing views, and centrally located with tons of cute restaurants and cafes. Fast forward a few months later, I proposed a stay at Mission Pacific for a quick 24-hour getaway for my girlfriends and I. We couldn’t have loved our experience more. First of all, I have to give a big shoutout to Jorge at the front desk. He provided top notch customer service and through my travel credit card perks, I was able to get an amazing upgrade and early check in for both rooms. We loved the aesthetic/vibe of the hotel and the rooms. The rooms were arranged with design and function in mind. Also, the views were just breathtaking and even though we were located on the same floor as the rooftop bar/pool, we felt safe knowing that you needed key access two times to enter the hallway to our rooms. Finally, after the drive back home, my heart sank when I realized that I somehow left behind some valuable earrings in the bathroom. I had very little hope that the earrings could be recovered because I had a bad experience earlier in the year from a similar situation. Fortunately for me, history did not repeat itself, and I have a sweet angel named Isabel, the housekeeping manager, to thank. I hope she is rewarded with the max amount of karma points one can receive. I made sure to leave something for her to show my appreciation. Just a few other things to mention: 1. Although we stayed on a lively Saturday evening with multiple events happening in the area, we did not experience any noise issues from where our rooms were. Based on other reviews, this may not always be the case. 2. If you have breakfast credit, besides maybe room service, it can only be used at the Seabird's Piper restaurant which has very limited a la carte options because they primarily cater to their breakfast buffet. 3. The quality of the provided hair dryer is great. No need to pack your own. (As a hair person, I always appreciate this type of info :)) 4. Bring or request your own slippers as they are not provided in the rooms. If your room has its own balcony, it can get dirty outside and you don't want to track in dirt from outside. 5. Must visit Parlor Donuts and grab a coffee at Camp during your morning walks in the area Overall, thank you to the entire staff for making it such a pleasurable stay for my friends and I. We’ve been friends for over 20 years and we rarely get to have such great quality time together. Mission Pacific was the perfect venue for our girls’ trip and I couldn’t recommend it more. I genuinely cannot wait for my next visit and for my friends and family to enjoy the experience as well!

This hotel is a 10/10! It's incredibly cozy, beautiful, and perfectly located for walking to everything. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in San Diego. The bed is so comfortable, I kept forgetting where I was when I woke up in the morning!
